Thief 2: The Metal Age

I can't express the amount of times i've re-run through that game in that year alone. And the great thing is. It came out on my birthday

Sonic Adventure, most likely, with a hint of pokemon red. And maybe Power Stone, if that was out then.
Probably a couple of things on the PC, too, but I can't remember what. The Sims, perhaps? Oh, and an old Beast Wars game that I spent far too much time on.

So many titles here which I'd forgotten over the years, time for me to dig out some old stuff from the attic and see if I can get some of these working :)

Baldur's Gate 1+2, FFVIII, Future Cop: LAPD, Resident Evil, Silent Hill.

Probably a dozen more as well.

Majora's Mask BABY! woo!
Flame shield up but I think it's better than ocarina of time. Ocarina was much more influential but Majora's Mask was overall the better designed and more fun game.
Same here. Majora's Mask was actually my first Zelda game (I've since played all of them but the two DS ones).

I think I also played Donkey Kong 64 and Age of Empires II quite a bit that year.

Welp, we got a new computer for Christmas in 1999. We definitely got a copy of Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine with it, too. I'm pretty sure we picked up Final Fantasy VII in that time as well.

Fuck yes nostalgia!

I was 10, I had a PSone, a Gameboy colour and a bad PC.

I was playing FF7 religiously, every afternoon after school I was playing it, totally immersed in the univerce. Of course, I didn't have a full understanding of what was going on, and I wasn't very good at it. But I loved the shit out of it. I'd play demo disks from my Playstation magazine a lot as well. By the time the PS2 came out I had around 40 of these things. Worms Armageddon was big on my playlist as well, everytime I had a friend over we'd have some pretty epic wars, and even my parents got into it.

I was gaming back then, and I remember it fondly.
Starcraft, Donkey Kong 64, Star Fox 64, Pokemon Stadium, Banjo Tooie and Majora's Mask. I miss being a little kid.
