I hate the concentrate stuff with a passion but just under 2 years ago I discovered freshly squeezed orange juice and now I love that shit.
I was the same way with apple juice for ages. I hate the clear amber kind. Simply Apple though? It actually tastes like fucking apples.

I also used to hate olives. Now I kind of like them, as a snack or part of a cold pasta salad.

I used to really dislike sourdough bread, but then I tried some of this stuff...

It is super delicious. Especially when grilled or toasted. Mmmmm.....

That's odd... I started liking the exact same things!

I used to despise olives. My first encounter with one was when I was ignorant of the stone within, so I got a weird salty taste, then a sharp pain as I tried to eat it whole, stone and all. My nine-year-old self spat it out and concluded anyone willing to eat such a horrible object must be out of their minds.

Now? I love 'em, particularly when stuffed with red peppers or together with feta cheese.

Apple juice I came to one early morning in an airport, having only drunk orange juice before and thinking nothing of other fruit juices. When I found it was deliciously sweet compared to orange juice, and a much nicer taste, I never looked back. Although I will drink the clear amber stuff as well as the more genuine juice.

Oh Tea, the god of the drinking beverage.

Welcome to the tea drinkers my friend. One of us. One of us.

I still hate coffee though.

I refuse to ever like coffee.

I still think coffee is the superior drink. Nothing beats a cup of coffee in the morning.

But it tastes like gravel and smells like cement...

Oh god why.

Yay! Now you can find obscure types of tea and name-drop them to sound superior to your friends! :D

OT: I used to think Megadeth sounded like shit. Got really into them last year. That's all I can think of.

I used to hate dubstep.

Then I listened to some and now I love it.

Don't hit me.

OT: Well, I used to hate olives. Now I just thoroughly dislike them. Well, that means that I can eat some of them and only about a couple at a time. I don't know if it counts.

I used to hate girls back in kindergarten, but now I think they're super-duper.

I also used to hate Alien but love Aliens, and now it's completely switched where I love Alien but hate Aliens.

There are a lot of heathens here, tea (and to an extent coffee) is a glorious invention that fuels the world. Especially when I have to write something.

There's plenty of things for me. Coffee, but that was a while ago now, I needed something to keep me awake. Energy drinks, and by that I mean Relentless 4 packs. Red skittles, ginger, s'all good now.

Umm? Tobuscus? I didn't really like him at first but then he started to grow on me. Also Jim sterling and Ale. I'm usually a lager kind of guy (well actually I prefer whiskey to bier, but that's not important)

And shame on you OP for turning to the darkside. Coffee is king! Coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee....

I used to hate most Black Metal not all that long ago, but I've since come to appreciate a lot of the bands the genre has to offer as well as garnering a taste for more atmospheric/minimalist music in general. In addition to that, I'm pretty sure my younger self would want to punch me in the bollocks for watching ponies. Probably a lot things I like now that my mid/late teenage self would disapprove of, but those are a couple that come to mind.

I think you need to make it up to me.
How can I make it up to you?

Shorts. When I was young, I would always wear jeans. Even in the summer, and I live in the desert. Then at some point, don't really know when, I fell in love with basketball shorts. Now I can't get enough of them, it's all I ever want to wear, even in the winter. Yes, it gets fucking cold here too. I just can't win.

Let's see...beer. When I first started drinking, I loved me some mixed drinks, both girly and manly. Hated beer. Then one day I went to the bar with some buddies. They grabbed a pitcher of beer for something like 3 bucks and I got a tequila sunrise for 7 bucks. Ever since, I've been all beer and started to even enjoy it shortly thereafter. I'll still take a rum and dr. pepper, though.
