I used to hate avatar the last airbender.

I have no idea why. I was a hipster 14 year-old I guess.

We all make mistakes.
Oh yeah, I used to hate Anime, but then I liked "Hellsing," then I enjoyed "Bleach" for some 80 episodes, And now I drive around playing the soundtrack to "Initial D" in my car. (I also hated J-pop, while we are on the subject.)

When I was younger I used to despise gossiping or bitching of any kind. I stood by the belief that if you have a problem with somebody then you should just say it to them or keep your mouth shut.

While I still stand by that belief, in my current workplace I find it extremely difficult to not become hypocritical in regards to that stance, especially when it comes to my manager.

I get extremely angry with myself for not being able to avoid it, even if what I am saying about them is perfectly true.
oh please, tell your manager EXACTLY how you feel, then let us know what happens ;)

also to add in

used to fucking hate cheeseburgers with a passion, if you put cheese in my fucking burger, i will throw that shit back at your face.

as of late..(this happens alot, people don't care to listen when i make my order..) i've finally started to not mind it so much..(just the residue portions, usually it's too much damn cheese though.)

this flips more often than it should, but it's starting to balance out

used to hate beer and love hard stuff (mostly vodka and whiskey, sometimes tequila)

now it's complete opposite, if i even get a WIFF of whiskey, dear god i'm gonna throw up, but if i smell a beer you bet your ass i'm gonna ask for one.

I used to hate a lot of food. Now I everything served to me, whether I really like it or not.

Also, on the subject of tea. How do most of you tea drinkers drink your tea? Like what do you put into it, how do you make it, and so on. I can't really say that I've ever had tea properly made/served, and to me, whenever I have it, it just tastes like hot water. If you gave me some hot water and said it was tea I would probably believe you.
Put one PG Tips tea bag into a mug with one teaspoonful of sugar. Add boiling water and stir well. Remove tea bag and add a dash of milk until it goes this colour:

You now have a proper cuppa. Enjoy!
With the exception of the sugar. I approve of this. Far too many people put milk in first (blasphemy) or don't allow time for the tea to stew and infuse with the water before adding the milk... Milk blocks the pores of the teabag and prevents it reaching a reasonable strength.

That said, I prefer a stronger cup in the mornings, and have mine in the traditional Yorkshire fashion (don't take out the teabag).

I don't take stances unless I'm certain they're right.
As a result my opinions on things almost never change unless faced with astonishing new evidence.

Coffee. I couldn't stand it. Now I can't live without it. I get terrible headaches and nausea if I go without it. Now I consider my only true love my coffee machine, once I had to spend months apart from it and it was so tragic. It's a friendship I hope will never end.

I was a confused child. I hated pineapple, avocado, eggplant, venison, beer, whiskey, papaya, and several other things that I love now.

Children are stupid. I only know because I was one.

Ah, I see. Thank you very much. Now I can hopefully be on my way to enjoying a proper cup of tea.

Beer. There was a time when I would drink nothing but Screwdrivers and Smirnoff Ice. Finally, someone gave me something besides a Bud Light to try...it was a Finnegan's Amber. Ever since that day, I've become quite the beer lover (see also: snob).

All my life I have hated tea. Living in Ireland, I was a severe disappointment to my family and was frequently shamed and ridiculed. Rather than joining the crown to please others, however, I refused to give in to the pressure and continued to abstain from drinking the beverage.
It's just tea, a light casual beverage common to most of the world. It's hard to believe anyone could have a strong opinion of it.

I watch Southpark now, not regularly but from time to time. A younger me would be upset about that. Not much else has changed though really.

Beer Snobbery is important. It's because of a lack of Beer snobs that the Carlings, Fosters, Budweisers, Coors etc. etc. are allowed to continue to exist, when realistically the owners and operators of those companies should be hung, their master brewers publicly flogged, and their breweries should be confiscated and handed over to some good brewers...

Too extreme?

I used to think people who couldn't drink milk were a bit weird.
Then I hit 20 and suddenly milk started to make me loopy and pass out.... so yay on that front.

I feel like there's a Chris Rock joke in there somewhere but I'm not sure.

When I was a teenager, about 15-16, I hated any music that didn't have really heavy growls, like death metal and black metal. I just wouldn't give anything else a chance, except for bands like Type O Negative and Nine Inch Nails. Then one day, almost by accident, I heard some power metal. It opened me up to so much more music. I couldn't believe how ignorant I was and blind to so much good music. I wish I would have heard it at a much younger age and gotten into the music I like more now.

I still love death metal, but I listen to so much more now.

I used to hate everything hipster, everything, I now find myself listening to hipster music, wearing obnoxiously bright clothing, and saying the phrase "I liked this before it was popular." (Although in my defence, usually when I say that it is actually true.) I have become the very thing that I despise, although I suppose that's because I'm a low-key, self aware hipster that doesn't take my self so seriously and therefore don't think I'm better than everyone.

Hurray for not being undeservedly arrogant.

I wouldn't say I hated it, but I certainly couldn't take it seriously. In Britain 'bender' is an insult for gay people, so I would just sit there laughing whenever someone referred to themselves as a bender.

See your an idiot an seeing everything political. Tea is a drink, it was drunk in China way before England. Hate the politics, but hating a drink not even grown in the UK is stupid.

Anyway, im not insulting you as a person, just those that saw tea as a symbol. I can understand their reasoning, but its still dumb. Like idiots that burn flags.

As far as stuff i didnt like, but likes. Seafood would be one. It look gross. But is yummy when cooked right, even eels which look gross.

Mushrooms. I hated mushrooms (by themselfs at least), but then we found some morel mushrooms around the house. God they're good. They tast just like beef! Now I'm trying to grow them.
There is a plant that taste like beef? And you can grow this plant Why are there people still pondering the meaning of life or debating the existence of God? THERE IS A PLANT THAT TASTE LIKE COW MEAT!
Fuck you Richard Dawkins, fuck you.

OT: This is going back a long while, but RPG's I used to despise RPG's but then I played Morrowind and I've loved them ever since. On the flip side I used to mmorpg's but now I despise them.
To be fair, they are a bit hard to come by/grow, you do need to use a lot of mushrooms to make a burger, they shrink a bit worce than cow meat, and mushrooms are a fungus not a plant.(Sorry to be such a categorical Nazi, but I couldn't help myself, again sorry.) And, Dawkins was a bit of a dick at times.

Also I didn't really like shooters until I got the Orange Box.
Too bad on them being hard to grow, but I think it'd be worth the effort, and yeah I don't like Dawkins at all. I blame him and his ilk for the surge of asshole atheist that have cropped up in recent times.
