If you haven't already you will buy the DLC to Mass Effect. This is non-negotiable.
Also, you will buy Mass Effect. Even if you've already got it. This is also non-negotiable.

Now do a funny dance.

I'd recommend Castle Crashers - especially if your friends have it.

Other than that, just buy the map-pack that you think you'd use the most - which game do you play online more? Although you're not missing much with the variety map pack in my opinion, the best maps are Crash and Crossfire and they shipped with CoD4's original disk.

Plus, aren't the Legendary maps becoming free shortly?

I HAVE got mass effect, but i barely play it because there's more interesting stuff coming out. So buying the DLC at this time would be stupid.

Do you not have Fallout 3?

If not, buy it, play it, learn to love it, and then wait for the Pitt and Broken Steel DLC.

Buy lots of themes and images of pop culture figures that you've never heard of! You won't regret it!

Wait, how did you even DARE not putting Braid on that list of choices?
How....could you? *cries on somebody's shoulder*

Well you took my advice...

but on a serious note, castle crashers is a boatload of fun if you have a few friends who also posses it. Its also hard to go wrong with a Halo, or COD map pack, so the choice is really up to you.

I, however, advise against:
N+
Doom
Duke nukem 3D
Crackdown getting busy pack

because the first three can be found and played easily on your PC for a much cheaper(or free)price, and the last one is pointless.

Castle Crashers is fun, especially now that they've fixed the online co-op component.

One caveat about Castle Crashers, though: the playable characters (the 4 starters and the huge cast of unlockables) are all essentially the same aside from their magic power. Their attack animations and speeds are basically identical. This is the one thing about the game that kind of annoyed me.

Braid's puzzles aren't that hard for the most part. I'm playing it right now and there are only a couple per world that I've had to spend a while thinking about.

MOTHERFUCKING BRAID!

Damn you all for not even mentioning it and shame on the TC for not even considering it
Maybe he already *has* it? Maybe he doesn't like it?

Marathon: Durandal isn't a bad game to tell you the truth, port could've been done better though, that's the only thing that I would add because you have my purchase list covered pretty much. Why buy N+ though? It's free for the computer and has a shitload of user created content already.

Oh, and on the subject of Braid.. I bought it a week or so back when they put it down to 800 MS points. Worth the 800.. but not the 1,200 I would say.
M2 is fun as hell. However, why pay points for it when you can get on your PC for free? with tons of conversions and stuff like that as well?

I'd recommend mappacks and Castle Crashers. Great game. If you're looking for expansions, F3 has operation anchorage and the Pitt is coming soon, along with Broken Steel in the next month. ME's DLC is pretty nice too.

Honestly, I wouldn't spend it for spending it's sake. Save it for when there is something you actually want to get, y'know?

Blasphemy!
Nothing is more interesting than Mass Effect.

On a side note: The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is coming out soon.
I'm confident that it will be Awesome!

Sure did.
I could rant some more about the supreme awesomeness that is Mass Effect, but I'm sure you get it already.
