I've just booted up Steam

It was in dire need of an update, but I'm not a fan of this one.
Streamlined it isn't

It feels cluttered on the store front, and it gets worse in the games list.

Although I imagine I'll get used to it, just like that youtube update...

I love it, but cant find the penny arcade link anymore. I always get my penny arcade fix thru steam, it was just so convenient

I like it a lot more, I think it's a more intuitive layout actually, while at the same time giving me more information about things.

Sigh. Now it's harder to find stuff. On an unrelated note, the L4D2 update messed up my game. Now I have to find some workaround to get my game to run the way it used to.

Also, does anyone know how to change the download location for files on Steam? I have tried looking in a million places and can't find the option anywhere. At least, I couldn't on the old steam.

I'm not really a fan of the new Steam layout. the original was great because it didn't look futuristic and cluttered. I like bare bones layout and this is just obnoxious. chances are I already know how many of my friends play Counter-strike....Just seems really unnecessary to me.

Any thoughts on the new layout?

I love it. The old one wasn't shiny enough, it felt old and used. It needed a facelift in my opinion.

I always thought the old one looked like throwup, especially the color. At least I can see through it's dreadfulness now.
