I've looking at the RPG's coming out this year and

I've come to realise that a social life and human contact are luxuries I will not be able to afford this year. I mean with Deus Ex, Dragon Age 2, TES 5, Mass Effect 3, Diablo 3 and so on I'll be busy the amount of time I've sunk into these franchises is ridiculous and will probably be the same with these.

When was the last time RPG's looked so good throughout a year?

I'm trying to think of when games in general looked so good through an entire year.

My first major purchase will be Dragon Age 2 though.

Don't forget, that looking good and actually being good are two completely different things. You'll undoubtedly have plenty of time for human contact and social life.

Yeah, this is looking like it's going to be a good year for RPG's.

I'm sure no one else in the entire world cares, but I'm even looking forward to Darkspore. Sure it looks like it was designed for 15-year-olds, but as far as I'm concerned it's the best parts of Spore mixed with the best parts of Diablo II and all rolled into one cool game.

Ah...I disagree but mostly because I assume ME3 will be a DA:O rewritten(and I don't really consider it an RPG). DA 2 is a ME2 rewritten and so on and so forth. Also you forgot Witcher 2.

I considered 2009 as one of the best year for RPGs. Failing that, 2007. Both years had some great games coming out. This seems more like the year of the shooters.

Don't really care about Deus Ex 3, don't know what TES 5 is, never really liked Diablo, didn't care much for DA:O.

I'm only getting ME3, and that comes out in November. I'm going to be fine for human contact this year.

I don't care about DA, but ME3, Elder Scrolls, Deus Ex, and Diablo all make me need a change of underwear.

I am so torn on either buying L.A Noire, WHICH LOOKS FANTASTIC, or Dragon Age 2, WHICH LOOKS FANTASTIC BUT IN AN RPG KIND OF WAY. I don't think I have the disposable income for both and I desperately want to buy Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim too, and possibly Catherine and other games coming out this year. This is a complex moral dillema, mortal men should not have to ever make this decisi- AH! Dammit, i'll just get Dragon Age 2.
