I've never seen Fight Club.

People stare incredulously when I tell them that.

I haven't seen any of these either, except for Ghostbusters, that's one of my favorite movies of all time. I also haven't seen Avatar, and I don't plan to.

2001: A Space Odyssey (I read the book, though), Citizen Kane, Metropolis, Titanic, Avatar, Bladerunner (But, again, I have read the book), Nosferatu, Kill Bill, Ghostbusters, Tron, The Godfather, Evil Dead, Shawshank Redemption, and a lot of others. There are also a lot of "classic" games that I haven't played, like the original Zelda, Mario, Metroid, and Sonic the Hedgehog games, Wolfenstein, Doom, the Final Fantasy games, and anything made by Tim Schafer.

I was recently talking to my friend about movies, and he brought up the Ghostbusters. I told him I've never seen it. Naturally he goes on a long tangent about how good it is, and how there's no way in hell I've never seen it. Well, sorry, I've never seen the Ghostbusters. In fact, there are quite a few "great" movies I've never seen, and some I probably never will.

I have never seen:

-The Ghostbusters
-The Godfather
-Scarface
-Any of the Evil Dead movies
-Citizen Kane
-Pulp Fiction
-Schindler's List
-2001: A Space Odyssey
-Patton
-ET
-Any of the Rocky movies.
-Blade Runner

The list goes on and on.

So, what movies have you never seen, and probably never will see regardless of how good people say they are?
You poor poor soul, come over and I will show you every movie you will need to see to live a nice normal life. Just kidding but you should check out some of those movies :p

Out of this entire topic of films, I have seen Scarface, the first two Godfather movies, Pulp Fiction, Jurassic Park (only the first one) and District 9.

I have seen maybe 3 or 4 dozen movies in my entire lifetime, and most of those were disney cartoons I watched when I was a small child. That's why I don't understand when people freak out because I haven't seen some big movie. It would be understandable if it went something like "Well, it's a really good movie. I think you should watch it some time" instead of "OMIFUCKINGOD YOU HAVENT SEEN BLADERUNNER GO FUCK YOURSELF YOU LITTLE FUCKING ****** AND IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED IT BY THE NEXT TIME I SEE YOU I WILL SKULLFUCK YOU" See: 1/20 or so of the comments in Critical Miss 22, and the reactions of anyone I mentioned it to after having read them.

this is a troll right ?
Honestly.. not trying to troll in the least. As for hollywood remaking old movies.. I never said they made them better than the originals, Just that they have no problem rehashing the same thing thats already been done with new bells and whistles.

As for video quality. I wasnt trying to say movies are made soley in digital format, but more to the effect that the digital format helped to create a more standardized visual quality of all films across the board. Analog film quality was put into a place of improve or fall into obsolecense when digital started emerging, and it chose to improve, and we have better visual quality thanks to it. And besides, the visual quality issue, is just a matter of my personal taste preference.

Sorry if it came off like a troll, I was just voicing my personal opinion.

I have never seen the Aliens or the Predator movies. Never want to. Never will. They just seem well ... lack of a better word ... stupid.

I also haven't seen a LOT of horror movies, such as Friday the 13th, Blair Witch Project, Scream, Final Destination etc.

I've seen The Godfather and didn't care for it at all. I'm the only person I know that doesn't like it.

...what?

I'd like to see all of these "Classics," like Alien, and The Godfather, but I haven't gotten around to them. I'm not the biggest fan of movies, but always being sick and Netflix have changed that.

Seeing as you just referred to Ghostbusters as "The Ghostbusters" I could not take your question seriously.

But seriously, I'm aiming to see loads of classics by the end of the year. So chances are, none of them.

Dances with Wolves.

Everyone started talking about it when Avatar came out. So, naturally, I didn't know what the fuss was all about.
