I think Cameron is just pissed that Piranha 3D exposes 3D as what it really is: a gimmick, nothing more, and certainly
not a technical revolution in in the mediums of television and cinema as him and others have been touting it. Sure, it can be a fun gimmick, but still just a gimmick.

Forgive me if I sound asinine, but I never can tell the difference between "depth of field" 3D and 2D (perhaps it's just my inadequate vision, though). Therefore it is my honest opinion that 3D is good for nothing
but throwing things at the screen, hence not good for much at all.
