That's what you get for harrasing people on the subway.

And what the hell happened to common sense ?
In real life I wouldn't get near those kind of big burly 3 man let alone harras them with a clown outfit.

If you can't see that beating coming then you're gonne get beaten.
And I highly doubt anything bad will happen if they were charged because
the actor guy just provoked them and the guy kindly asked him to back off more than once.

Well the fact the actor was in peoples faces acting stupid and New Yorkers don't take that kind of behavior...served him right.

I've acted in a whole lot of venues... and when your being weird and in peoples faces and they just think your a freak...well ... a real actor knows where that danger line is.

Well even though it was wrong an actor got beat up I kinda understand. You don't know what people go through, you don't know that man might have someone in his face before and he was attacked. I can take a joke but as soon as someone says "back off" and looks serious,

Jokes over.

Actually yes they can. It doesn't matter if they insult you or annoy you. You cannot hit them. The law uses a "don't stoop to their level" approach. Hell in some states breaking that law can prohibit you from owning a gun entirely.
And knowing is half the battle

What a bunch of tools. I swear most people are New York's subways are some of the biggest assholes you'll meet.

Most of the people on the NYC subway's that me and my friends encountered were okay. When we were there for a weekend but 1 old guy shoved me and told me to get the fuck off him when I knelt beside him to watch some performers on the train car...but of course that was just 1 asshole

Well the website confirms it, this was an April fools joke, a good one at that.
Not really. I felt this blatant publicity stunt was done in really poor taste.

I'd say this time they maybe made an error of judgement, even with it being an April Fool's thing.

However, the level of negativity is pretty harsh, they've done over a hundred of these things, all of them positive, and all of them did nothing but bring smiles and something to talk about to a large group of the public, all for free. Everyone's in it for the fun of it, and there's never a malacious angle.

For those who think these guys are a bunch of a-holes, take a look at the some of the previous ones, don't judge em on this one misjudged event.

They've put a tux wearing bathroom attendant into a NY McDonalds, they took a kid's little league game and made it into a pro event with crowds, commentators etc:

In another they went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where a portrait of King Philip IV of Spain was going to be on display, and brought an actor along to 'be' him, and hand out signed photos.

Maybe it's not for everyone, but they're not bad guys really, and just want to make fun and memorable days for people.

I know the video is pretty serious, but I cracked up when Darth Maul appeared.

But, it just shows that some people just cant take a joke

I know what you mean. I mean the moment Darth Maul walked in, I almost forgot this was a serious matter.

I highly doubt that it is a April fool joke since even if the guys that beat him up were in fact another actor, they get their arse handed to them by the cops very soon.

If it does turn out to be a joke then I have been fool.

...Yeah...well that's kinda awkward,
I stand corrected, however...it wasn't a joke in good taste or humor. Nothing funny about someone getting beaten up.

Joke's on you; it's pretty obviously a joke. Worse still it was uploaded for April Fools.
I realised that a bit later on, timezones must have confused me, April fools don't count after midday.

These 3 brave men are my new heroes. Beating up Jar Jar aside, its clearly self defense. If a person starts shouting or talking at you despite repeated requests to go away, you are allowed to take action.

If its an April Fools prank, then they are the ideal to which we should all strive to.

Stupid meatball scum of humanity. People like that dont deserve to exist in a civilized society, throwem all into their little caveman valley and build large walls around it.
Even while its staged, stuff like this happens in reality.
