So me and my buddys are doing a DnD game and I thought ot would be fun to have a playlist of songs to play whenever the party stopped at a tavern or any other place a bard might perform. Only problem is I'm having trouble finding enough to really justify doing this, so I figured I'd ask you guys for help.

So, what are some good songs a bard might perform in a tavern in a fantasy setting?

Ah man, I love this one! There's a man in my village who has an Irish Folk Song band, and whenever I get the chance to play with them, this song is one we often perform. Fun to sing, fun to play.

OT: Well, I'd say The Irish Rover, but they're singing about sailing to New York, which decidedly does not exist in a medieval setting. Maybe if the lyrics were modified?

Well if you want a really crude and NSFW song for uninhibited and raunchy sailors, there's always the Good Ship Venus. A much safer but still mildly bawdy seaman's song can actually be drawn from Disney's 20000 Leagues Under the Sea. I refer of course, to Whale of a Tale.
