Bah, silly eco-lesbians (to borrow a term Clarkson himself once uses, if I recall correctly).

Yeh, I happen to be a fan of Top Gear and Clarkson, so as long as he carries on just saying what's on his mind, that's fine by me. Leave the smelly environmentalists to their futile "stunts". People will soon tire of them and climate change....
Ooh, another one!
and another (me)

OT: Clarkson and co and hilarious, i dont see how anyone could hate them.

Wait, so the eco-morons take top gear seriously?

It's an entertainment show about cars, for f.... sake.

How could anyone take Clarkson seriously after seeing him, for instance, do gardening with a shotgun?

The more I see these eco-protestors, usually armed with a lot more poo than knowledge, the more I just want to pollute as much as possible, just to piss them off.

I believe nature is worth preserving and caring for, but if it means being on the same side as those idiotic, fear motivated, probably dirty, poo-terrorists, then no thanks.

God I hate those shrill holier-than-thou hippies.

Looking at the more recent seasons of Top Gear, Clarkson and the other two do recognise that the days of the internal combustion engine have to end soon. They did an episode on the Tesla sports car, as well as a new family car being road-tested in California that runs off hydrogen.

The Top Gear presenters know that change has to come, by necessity, and are looking at realistic alternatives, and being much more sensible about as compared to the climate change lobby.

dear lord, did they ever stop for a moment and think how much methane gas was released by that poo, and of course we all know methane (from poo) is a hundred times more effective at causing global warming than, say, carbon dioxide (from cars).

the thing with that man and his opinions, he's actually fairly well informed... the trouble is he just comes across as a dick.

It just makes people like Clarkson more. I love the man, and I may not agree with his principles, but Goddamn he's funny!
