You chug that water, Jim my boy, but I am so silly, that isn't a toy.
Now take up your controller and become a roller, we have so much time.

... okay, that was harder then you think.

Yahtzee's was pretty damn depressing to me, whilst Jim made me giggle with glee.

... okay, I'm done.

A full pint glass? That's taking it a bit too far Mr Sterling.

I thought Yahtzees poem was going to end with a video game character becoming self aware and rebelling against the system.

Jim gave himself a hard topic this week, only 2 actual exclusives.

Warframe shouldn't count as it's been available on PC for months.

Oh Jim you know how to rub me up the right way. They were both really good actually, I'd say Jim's was funnier though. Still what can you expect when Yahtzee writes about modern FPS's? I'm pretty sure that by now even he's finding it hard to find new ways to make hating them funny - the regularity with which they churn them out these days and the lack of innovation in each one makes me wonder if they aren't just generated by algorithm and someone left the program running after Modern Warfare 2. It's actually quite depressing when you think of the amount of resources they must be taking away from developing new IP to get the next COD or Battlefield out so quickly.

Nice critique on the random locations of MMSs Yahtzee, and we need more from of the voice of "take them both out and let's roll".

I enjoyed Jim's poem, especially the end.

Beat me to it, I don't consider pc ports excusive but considering how 90% of all launch games for any system are ports, you don't have much else since BC was scrapped.

Jim's rhyme was awesome this week. I really liked how 4'th wall breaking it was. Really enjoyed that one.

I have to give the nod to Jim this week.
Not like this is a competition, but I say Jim won.

Very much enjoyed both poems this week, Yahtzee's relatively dark existential horror story complimented nicely by Jim's bite-sized reviewing silliness.

I thought Jim said he'd prefer launch titles that were a few good ones at the beginning and then the rest released over the subsequent years rather than one giant slop of good games all at one time with almost nothing over the first year. Has this changed?

I wish Jim and Yahtzee would do a pod cast to talk about games, sacrificing this show if need be.
Yes, and not necessarily in character. It'd be nice to have some more exposition.

Nope. The poem was just for shits n' giggles, not to make an overarching point about launch libraries.

My regretting the topic due to lack of material *was* kinda genuine though. :D

...Or a podcast like that, but sometimes filled with poetry!

OT: What will Jim review-poem next? Maybe the Xbox One?
If he did that, that video would be filled with such "fun"
First up, it's Dead Rising, the game with zombie killing
The story's not great, but the gameplay's still thrilling
It doesn't bring anything "that" new, per se...
So, I'll give it just a passable "okay"
Next up, it's Forza, with the realistic cars
And, graphically, it raises a couple of bars
But, unless you're not familiar with the previous game
Then, the rest of the content is just more of the same
Now, for the return of this fighting exclusive
Called Killer Instinct, which isn't inclusive
It's easy to pick up and the combos are smooth
Once you master it, you'll be hooked to its groove
Last up, it's Ryse, a game with such promise
But, this game fills me with such a catharsis
There are elements that are cool and make me a bit mad
But, to the game's credit, it's actually not that bad
It's better to use a controller, of course...
But, the Kinect movements wouldn't need too much force
Overall, this launch is alright, as you can see...
But, what do I know? Why did you listen to me?

*slow clap* That was beautiful. I think Jim and Yahtzee would be proud of you.

It's been suggested before. They've said that it would be difficult to bounce off each other without talking in person, and that's difficult because they live on opposite sides of the world. It would be great, though.
