Yeah, I'm voting for my new computer as best launch this year. I think the closest PC got into the next-gen fight was when Nvidia made a silly comment about how much more powerful the Titan was than a PS4. I respect your opinion, as I try not to get too emotionally involved in console debates, but there is one thing about your video that made me raise my eyebrow a bit.
You criticize the PS4 and Xbox1 for having nothing to their name except extentions of franchises established by earlier generations...

I believe the real answer is no one except the people who stood to make money on this.
If you have the money to buy a new console or upgrade your PC and get the games available for them then just enjoy them. Console and PC can't compare, they aren't supposed to. They are two different formats entirely. If you can't do that, enjoy what you have already. Just enjoy your hobby, however you can get it.
