What do y'all think of the opening?

I freaking love it. I was kinda let down by Bloody Stream, it wasn't as good as Sono Chi No Sadame, but I was blown away by the new opening, it's fantastic!

The song will have to grow on me (as did Bloody Stream when I first started Part 2), but the animation is fucking fantastic. I haven't read the manga, but I am expecting Part 3 to be awesome if this OP and the first two episodes are anything to go off of.

You know that feeling you get when halfway through an anime the opening changes and it's decent but not quite the same?

I don't get that with JoJo, seeing as each OP is pretty darn good. Bloody Stream didn't have the CGI overload (in a good way) of Sono Chi No Sadame but it does more of the FABULOUS factor, due to Caesar.

With this one, glad to see the Stands and the guitar out. I'm sure it won't take long for it to grow on me.

I prefer the parts where it's just the guitar going at it. The vocals are good, but I wish they could have been a little louder. It feels like a JoJo OP, so I'm pleased. Oh man, JoJo is just standing there like he doesn't care as his Stand destroys that wall. So good.

The first OP is still my favorite, it's got a lightening in a bottle, majesty to it. Bloody Stream is a close second.

I haven't read the manga or seen the OVAs, but I (and I think everyone else) knows all about Dio and his ZA WARUDO!! MUDA MUDA MUDA thing. Everything else is new to me.


And it took a long ass time for Bloody Stream to grow on me.

Like Attack on Titan and Kill La Kill. The 2nd openings are way better, in my opinion.

I heard bad things about SAO so I avoided it like the plague. Kill La Kill is brilliant. Not quite a Gurren Lagann-level of brilliant, but still awesome.

KLK's final battle didn't have the giant huge awesome epic feel that the final battle of TTGL did.

I like the song, but I hope they do another licensed classic rock song like they did with Yes in season one.

As for KLK... yeah, the final battle wasn't as epic as Gurran Lagann, but that's not what I was looking for in the finale anyway. What I wanted out of it, and what they delivered, was clever and fitting closure for the story's theme and the characters. Mmmmmm, the feels were so goooood.

Well, I do not think that it's bad (quite the contrary). However, compared to heroic vibe I got from Phantom Blood's opening and fabulous vibe from Battle Tendency one, the new one is, without me neing able to find a better word, average.
But hey, maybe I'll like it better later, who knows.

im weird and thought the part 2 OP was fantastic and is easily one of my favorite anime intros. I love the animation for the part 3 OP but the song i liked but i didn't go ape shit over it like i did with bloody stream and the ending is fantastic but i have a huge soft spot for YES. But i love part 3 so far im already considering buying a jotaro and star platinum figures

Stand Proud is, at the moment, my least favorite of the three JoJo's openings. Of course, that's like saying strawberry's my least favorite flavor of ice cream; it's still pretty good and I enjoy it, it's just overshadowed by the awesomeness of the others.

My first time hearing it, I was a little disappointed that Stand Proud didn't live up to the hotbloodedness of Sono Chi No Sadame or the smoothness of Bloody Stream, but as I've listened to it more it's been growing on me. I don't think I'll end up liking it more than the other openings, but it's a damn good one, and that animation is glorious.

Now that episode three is out we finally have out new ED!

While I loved the first openning song (it has a retro/ nostaglia anime song feel to it) the third song is still decend (as the title called, it stand proud).
The ending however, while it is fitting to the current situation but it is no roundabout (I thought they remixed that song a few time until I check out the real song itself, 10 minutes long)!

Lastly while I have not read the manga but I did watched the abridged version thanks to the awesome AntfishTAS which was based on the OVA however the OVA is like the short version of it so it does differ to the current anime.

But it sounds... so epic and cool and fighty and stuff and awesome and... stuff! I must be one of minority who prefers SONO CHI NO SADAME over Bloody Stream.... it took me like a week to warm up to it.
