So wait... is he saying that because people were killed IRL that its comparable to GTA ? He does know that GTA wasnt the first and only game where you can kill people ?

The Escapist who commented on yesterday's story claiming that a Grand Theft Auto game based around the recent Rothbury shootings is in the works has stated that he's surprised by the stupidity in the piece.
Furthermore, speaking on his Facebook page FinalHeart chose to make a further dig at Lawton.
"Baffled by the stupidity of people that are supposed to be journalists," he wrote, as reported by Destructoid. "This is a grown (?!?) man who sits around all day writing fake news stories for publicity who has today chosen to enter the real world just long enough to complain about people who realize his story is shit!"
"You would think he'd realize it's about journalistic integrity!!! Think I'll challenge him to a virtual reality duel....stab....I win!!! How's that for a duel you fucker?"
FinalHeart's comments are unlikely to win favour with an industry already full of his ignorance.
Seriously though, there are two main problems:
1) He has proven that he has no:
a) journalistic integrity
b) maturity
c) intelligence

first its not just gamers who are upset overthis. Second,this joke was just tasteless, i mean people died becasue of Rothbury. So of course people will be upset. Also could R* sue since he lied, and it put a bad name on them

You'd think there'd be some sort of legal repurcusion for writing such obviously slanderous and untrue stories - no less hassling a victims family to provoke a desired reaction. As it is though, I don't think any such law exists.
