Sir, you unfortunately are running a character who is not only being superman, but also a walking paradox. He only has control of his power when calm? For pyros, that's like saying you can only breathe when you feel like it. He ranks too high for his unpredictability in general, and just needs to be redone.
Yeah that hit me after I made him but let me redo him better than before.

Name: Cale Jioni

Age: 27

Mastery: Geomaster

Rank: Mage

Appearence: His dirty blonde hair fit little with his tanned skin from the hours of labor he used to do in the farms he had to work in. He stands at 6'4, is 195 pounds and is muscularly built due to the grueling manual labor he had to endure. His light blue eyes used to draw attention from the brown robes that he now adorns. He wraps a intricately sown scarf around the lower half of his face and his neck because of personal reasons. His dark brown robes cover a simple white cotton shirt and black pants with intricate sewings at both the pants leg. There is a handsome charm to Cale's face but he seldom uses that charm to get the things he wants.

Demeanor: Cale always had been a hard worker. Whether it be on the fields or in the libraries of the Academy. He always shows up on time and always focused on getting the task done no matter how difficult or daunting it may be. He can talk to others around him and he has no trouble making friends with the other mages but when others ask about his past he plainly states that he does not quite remember and that has worked a few times.

History: Cale's story begins when he was found on the doorsteps of an orphnage wrapped in his signature scarf. There was nothing else on him besides a wad of money and a note saying :"I'm sorry". Several years later Cale was taken by a rich family under false notion that they were looking for a orphaned child to call their own when in reality they were looking for workers for the fields. He was put on the fields and forced to work. It was there that Cale finally had a glimpse of what he could do. He met a Geomaster on the farms who quickly assumed himself as the boy's mentor and father after he separated a plot of ground to make an irrigation ditch. Luckily no one else but him saw this and quickly ushered the boy aside. From there on out he taught Cale under secrecy because he feared that if he was found then the family would kill him. The Geomaster that was now his father , Jodi, saved up the little money he had for Cale to runaway and join the Academy because Jodi didn't want Cale to waste his talent. At every step of his journey, from escaping the farms to "The Focus", Cale always clenched the scarf he had wishing for luck as his grasp of his powers grew over time turning him into a very noticeable Geomaster although he wonders every night where he had come from and why did his own parents abandon him.

TL;DR: Cale is a runaway from a life of harsh labor but he learned some Geomastery at the hands of a slave who was secretly a Geomaster as well. That same Geomaster helped him escape and get to academy so he could have a better life than the one they had on the farms.

Just a quick slice
Pretty good, but one thing needs to be changed, and it might be somewhat major. Mage slaves? That would not fly well with anyone at all. They would either be killed, or found out and shipped to an academy. Your character can personally be a slave, but their powers either cannot be as public, or he is found by a recruiter mage going around.

NOTE: Put in TL;DR spoiler so everyone can get some better idea of what I am looking at.

You need to work on that description more. There isn't really much of any picture to it other than blue hair and robes. Also, your history needs a ton of work. This is quite a while after the mages first arriving, meaning that wandering Reaper Forest would be terribly stupid. Also, being connected to a multitude of teachers is just odd in general. If you want consideration, it just needs to be redone.

Xero Scythe said:
Alright, this thing needs some real work now. First, your description is far too long. Just a general idea please, not describing absolutely everything. Next, his rank is too high for his age being so young, especially if any timeline is to be formed for how long he was here. Next, you need to just redo a lot of this sheet. I see a lot of things that don't apply here any more, like "Attuning." Your powers don't simply become amazing, you have to learn them. So, a lot of work to be done here.

My name is Fiction said:
Not a bad start, but the curse thing is a little bit too much. Go into more of the character themselves rather than the family around them. Also, he might be somewhat too young to be using Mage level, so a slight boost to that would be appreciated. Also, your character demeanor should just be how they act, and also some explanation on how he is muscled when he just reads books would be nice.
Ouch... I think that was quite possibly the first time I was told to cut back on my description. :)
Anyway, I think I fixed all the mistakes. Did I miss anything?

Alright ladies and gents. I will be choosing out the people, and starting the RP in TWO DAYS.

So if you have any questions, wonder if your sheet is good enough to be chosen, or anything like that, get working on it shortly. Make sure you don't have any spelling errors, abilities that make you super powerful, or a character without motivation.

Good luck to the contenders.

Name: Christopher Kallinikos

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Mastery: Pyromancer

Rank: Apprentice

Appearance: Chris keeps his head bald, small scars on his hands and shoulders show why. Hazel eyes stab out like burning embers, his brows are usually furrowed in rage. Standing at five feet and nine inches of raging teen age hormones, his body is lightly muscled and lightly scarred. Small dots, like marks from grease burns, pepper his arms and neck. His shirts are usually sleeveless, the edges singed.

Demeanor: The Kallinikos boy is temperamental and brash, he also has a tendency to act out at times, but as do many young pyromancers. The real conundrum about Christopher is how he tends to disappear and seclude himself for long periods of time. It is almost as if he needs to either be the center of attention, or completely left alone, often changing from one minute to the next. He is quick to work into a rage, or to jump down a fellow students throat and seems almost resilient to the effects of melancholy, but his anti-social tendencies seem a concern to his teachers and mentors. Many chalk it up to teen angst and rebelliousness.

History: Christopher was an orphan, his parents had passed away while he was young and the only thing they left him was his name. He lived happily in the orphanage until the days his gift matured, his friends and the supervisors looked on him differently and he felt their eyes boring into his back. They talked about sending him away, calling him a danger to the others kids. Before they could send him to this "Academy" he ran. He ran as far and fast as he could, turned down streets at random, he ran until he was lost; it was his ninth birthday. He spent the remainder of his child hood pick pocketing, pan handling, and mugging people to keep himself fed. He carried a simple knife with him and a set of lock picks. The knife he used to fend of animals and larger kids, the set of picks was obvious, he was a thief after all. He got through his 15th birthday until he tried to mug a nactomancer and faced his creeping shadows. Out of a combination of desperation and fear he enveloped himself in flames, his hair getting charred in the process, small burns appearing on his skin. The Noctomancer subdued the boy and brought him the the academy, dropping him unceremoniously into the hands of the Pyromancer Masters. He spent a year studying, and on the eve of his 16th birthday was named apprentice.

Name: Scott Adams

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Mastery: Airshifter

Rank: Adept

Appearance: With a slim, lithe build, and standing at 5'7'', Scott is a relatively unimposing individual, and most people would, quite accurately, consider him rather ineffectual in a physical confrontation. To compensate for this, he is quick and agile, able to outmaneuver most opponents, a skill augmented by his airshifting abilities. His light blonde hair is untidy, and his bright green eyes are set into warm, soft features. His skin is lightly tanned, although it is clear he has never spent a significant amount of time carrying out outdoor physical labour.

Demeanor: Scott is kind and sociable, especially towards other airshifters, and is able to become at least friendly with most people. In regards to his airshifting training, he has always been extremely driven, needing to prove to himself that he is able to amount to something. He possesses a sharp and inventive mind, often coming up with solutions that others may have overlooked, or not even considered. Usually, Scott is content to allow others to take leadership roles, but is unafraid to voice his opinion if he disagrees with something.

History: Scott was born into a relatively wealthy merchant family, and should have led a life of comfort and ease. However, his birth had been preceded by a number of health problems, and his mother became desperately ill, her strength sapped by the pregnancy. The strain of giving birth proved too much, and Scott's mother died shortly after he was born, turning what should have been a day of celebration into one of grief, and Scott earned the enduring hatred and resentment of his father.

Initially, Scott was raised by a nurse hired by his father, as the man slowly began to drink himself to death. Eventually, however, his family's wealth dried up, and Scott found himself living in a dilapidated old house with an alcoholic father who seemed to delight in belittling and mocking his son, constantly telling him he'd never amount to anything and was destined to be a failure. Shortly after his thirteenth birthday, Scott finally gathered the courage to fight back against his father. What began as a shouting match quickly began to turn violent. However, when Scott's father took a swing at him, he was unable to make contact with the boy. Instinctively, Scott had gathered enough air around himself to create a shield. Not quite understanding what he was doing, Scott lashed out, the air he had focused around himself exploding outwards. The flimsy wooden walls of the rundown shack they called home blew apart, and Scott's father was thrown backwards, his head snapping back with a loud crack, and he landed in a heap in the gutter across the road. As people came outside to see what had happened, and finding a small boy at the center of the destruction, it was evident that the power of an elemental had awakened within the boy. Scott was quickly apprehended and locked away in the town jail to await the arrival of an emissary from the Academy. Just over ten years later, Scott has grown into a confident and skilled airshifter, recently promoted to the rank of adept.

Finally got my sheet up for the reboot. Hopefully it's not too late. A complete departure for me, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Name: Jennifer "Raven" Mays

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Mastery: Nightshade

Rank: Mage

Appearance: She has dark black medium length hair, a very obvious dye job, the front fringes of which almost cover brown eyes. Freckles dot her face, though she tries to cover them up with makeup and she has both ears as well as her nose pierced, the nose piercing somewhat botched, scarring present.

Her build is nothing special, standing 5'5", she is slightly overweight, and she hides it as best she can under her robe, which is colored to match her adopted hair color, with a dull gray sash tying it off. She's had no desire to alter it in anyway, preferring the solid black.

Demeanor: Raven is a depressing person, mostly due to the events of her life so far. She always speaks in a hushed tone, about 10dbs above a whisper, and the majority of the stuff she has to say is about how bleak her life has been up to this point, and how the world sucks. No one at the Academy has yet been able to coax a smile off of her, and the only thing she shows any semblance of enjoying is practicing the dark arts.

History: Jennifer was born to hard-working peasant farmers from outside of the port city, who mostly focused on providing vegetables to the restaurants of the city. Her freckles, pale skin and bright red hair immediately set her apart from the other children in the area, and when she was brought out to play with the other children, they teased her relentlessly for it. Ten minutes couldn't go by with a shot at her looks, and she was the butt of every joke. Her parents refused to believe her complaints or do anything outside of supposed talks to their parents, but it never stopped. It got so bad that one day when she was six, the other kids trapped Jennifer inside a drainage pipe, sealing her in for two hours before they got bored and left. That time in the darkness wasn't so bad for the young girl however. She felt at home stuck in the shadows, it was like an enveloping cloak around her, and for the first time she felt content. Comforted. Normal.

When she was eight and the torment had degraded to mostly verbal attacks, she started exhibiting different talents. Magical talents. Her parents urged her not to use her newly developing powers unwisely, however, the thought of revenge was too strong for the young girl. The next day she was back out amongst the other kids, and she tried to use her magic to turn them all ugly, to punish them for what they did, but her magic was newly found. It was weak, unable to do anything but muss one of the other girl's hair. She was further ostracized from the group and remained an outcast until she was called away to the academy at age ten.

Upon arrival she was quickly disappointed to learn that she would not be able to turn all the mean kids back home into toads or anything like that, and sensing the dark motivation in the girl, the focusing placed her in the Nightshade specialization. Her disappointment didn't lift, continuing to override her personality, but she did embrace her chosen class, dressing in all black and even dyeing her hair to match. She's been slowly progressing through the ranks at the academy, hoping to one day gain enough dark powers to return to her home community and properly pay her bullies back for the early years of her life.

Truthfully, I wasn't sure about bringing along one more person, but I read over the sheet again and just found your characters aloofness somewhat hilarious. Just keep in mind that I will be watching out for that fighting aspect of yours.

I would like to extend my thanks to everyone for showing up and giving it a shot. If there are any additional questions, concerns, bargains, or pleas you would like to bring fourth, please do so shortly. An opening post from me will be coming up later this evening.

Thanks again, and good luck to everyone!
