While beating might have been a bit too much for just some simple downloading, I advocate beating kids (not to abusive levels). Why such a harsh stance? It works. When I screwed up, I got beat, and then I made damn sure not do screw up in the same way again. Talking with your kids about what they did wrong in minor screw ups is fine and dandy, but major ones? I'm bringing out the belt.

I really wish the worst for him. Domestic abuse like this just isn't acceptable by any means, for any reason. Even reading about it makes me quiver with rage and hatred, because I know this kind of shit and worse happens all the time, all across the world.

I'm exceptionally glad this video has reached the media, and the rest of the public eye. I hope it ruins him forever.

What's even worse, he has turned himself into the victim, and her into a spiteful, bitter brat. Really??? She has a right to be spiteful and bitter. I still think it's more likely that giving her nice things was either out of guilt, or an effort to continue controlling her once she moved out "do as I say or I'll take it all away" type of thing.
