When someone uses martyrdom, nobody says hax they just call them a noob.Octorok said:Thing is, Juggernaut annoys me. But I don't care - it's in the game. Stopping Power cancels it out. So why do people *****? Because whoever is using the perk is a better player than them.
I use Martyrdom on a shotgun class, and I get called a n00b. But at the end of the day, who got the kills? Me. Who saved the HQ? Me. I used what the game gave me. I didn't hack, cheat or glitch. I used a perk properly and came out the winner. You know what that makes me? A better player.
And Betties are not noobish anyway. And I hate the term noob, it's moronic. And no weapon, perk or camping position is noob-ish. If it's in the game naturally, without glitches or cheats, then this player is using it to their advantage and winning. They are the better player for not using some code of honour and ignoring a useful perk. I never use Juggernaut and almost never use Martyrdom because of personal preference anyway.
A real player is one who uses the game to his advantage - not a guy screaming "STFU N00b! HAX!"
Using an ability provided by the game the way it's supposed to be used doens't stop it from being cheap. Just because you use an ability to help you capture or defend an objectove doesn't stop it form being cheap. No, martyrdom isn't cheating or hacking, but it is still cheap. See, martyrdom rewards people for dying, and then killing enemies in a way that requires no skill or input from the player. You simply die and the game does the rest. So why is it considered noob-ish? Becuase people with a lack of skill get free kills for sucking.
You argue that becuase you get the kills using these that it is not "noobish".
...By what logic does that make sense? Seriously. The whole point of cheap tactics is to get easy kills and lots of them. And isn't using a game to your advantage, you know, using exploits? All it really sounds like is you trying to justify the use of cheap tactics.
