Ya know, thinking about this even more, let's all assume for a moment that they are telling the truth and this is all fake. Let's assume this is all staged and just a joke... Who in the fuck thinks this shit up and decided to make it into a YouTube video? Like who honestly thinks "We're gonna pretend like we're yelling at this kid until he cries, and push him into a bookshelf. Comedy gold right there."

That isn't even dark humor, that is just pretending that cruelty is a joke. I've come to the conclusion that whether or not the videos are real or fake doesn't even matter. They are bad people. Child abuse isn't funny, even if it is staged.

Also to clarify, I don't personally believe that it is fake. I think that was an excuse for them to try and damage control. This post was simply to point out that even IF it is staged, it is still super fucked up.
Agreed, these people are despicable. Why hasn't social services been involved yet? Now would be a good time guys.

I could see some scenario where this is some grand social experiment to point out the regression of the modern family due to the age of the internet if I squinted real hard. Could be a real Oscar contender. You just have to show that the whole family are acting gods descended from Daniel Day-Lewis (or better yet, they whole family is a DDL motion capture CG performance), that it was directed by Banksy, and produced by the Harvey Weinstein and I would be sold.

Welp, that prank went from 0 to 60 pretty quick, didn't it? Holy hell, fuck those parents.

I'd like to throw my hat in with everyone else that says "just a prank" needs to die as a defense of doing really shitty, horrible and sometimes illegal things to the unsuspecting, along with "just a joke" as a defense of really lazy humour. Just fuck off with your garbage attempts at being funny. Shock humour is so incredibly childish when there isn't a greater point being made.

YouTube really is a toilet sometimes.

Youtube pranks aren't even actual fucking pranks. They are just awful acts to people. Real pranks are something all parties can laugh off after the fact. Like this one time, a group of us got together to prank a buddy we knew who was leaving for a new job in a new state. So before he left, we went into his office and put post-it notes on everything, labeling his entire office. The table had notes saying "Table" All his books were labeled, all of his pictures, the ceiling, literally everything.

No one got hurt, or offended, or traumatized. We all had a good laugh afterwords. The worst a prank should ever be is an inconvenience. Anything worse than that is just being a dick. There is a world of difference between someone drawing on your face because you fell asleep at a party, and outright child abuse. One can be fixed with a quick shower, while the other can be damaging for the rest of that person's life. Those parents are outright scum.

All the usual excuses, he's just digging himself deeper. This piece of shit isn't even creative with his excuse and he's only upset because people are calling him out on his behavior and he can't keep acting like a dick for money.

"My kids are terrified!" says the guy who terrorizes his kids for lulz and money.

You know you're responsible for some genuinely vile, fucked up shit when even a professional scumbag like MisterMetokur/InternetAristocrat is calling you out for it.

So next time some people start claiming about their right to have children show them this video and remind them that no, not everyone should have a right to have children.
