Preliminary tests on Time Machine were marginally successful. While incapable of sustaining the vessel's complete reintegration, the pathways are correctly calibrated, offering only a month or so as a margin of error in either direction. The target destination of Year 2001 was reached, however reintegration occurred at an awkward and inopportune moment. For ease of use, a failsafe ensuring arrival during normal sleeping hours should be implemented. An interesting anomaly to note was that while the vessel's body remained that of his 2001 self, his HAIR was that of his current self. While it's entirely possible this has to do with the vertical calibration, which, as we all know, when overextended, even by only a few millimeters, can result in a parallel leap into an all too different version of the chosen dimension. It's important to note that time machines are not ACTUALLY time machines, but inter dimensional expressways. Currently around you is every moment that ever was and ever will be existing all at once. My project doesn't actually change time, just phases you into a TIME replica of your current dimension. But if you mess up the VCal, your destination becomes a dimension that could vary from your own greatly. To prevent this, I've installed counterweights onto the vessel and VCal modifier, but have not stress tested such protective measures for fear of losing connection with what i'm calling the Mother Dimension (the vessels Home Dimension).
I'll keep you updated as more testing is completed.
