I already bought the first Infamous, Heavy Rain, and the first three Assassin's Creed games on PS3 for a combined total of $20 (never really gave them a fair chance, so I figured I'd use them to start my PS3 library).

So please help me!
you should of never bought AC 1. ACR comes with it on disk
Also don't buy Bio shock 1. Bio shock Infinite

I would say get White knight Chronicles 2. Its a great game. Also, you don't have to by WKC1 because it is on the same disk. Loved the story and game play despite the reviews.

You could also get Metal Gear Solid HD collection.
on the disk is Metal gear 1-2,Metal gear Solid 2-3 and Metal Gear solid Peace walker
Also, Metal gear solid 4. Only if you don't mind long cuteness for ether MGS HD or MGS4

I only bought AC1 because it was a black friday sale for $5. A local game store had a buy two, get one free deal on used games. AC2 was $8, AC:B was $10, Infamous was $10. So I got AC2 for free, and figured I would just hand over a five dollar bill for the first one. Plus, by the time I work my way through the first three, AC:R will possibly be even cheaper.

EDIT: I may pick up Bioshock Infinite. Never played the second one, but I enjoyed the first one enough.

since you say you like survival horror, Resident Evil 5 and Dead Space 1 and 2 are definitely my suggestions. Other great games are Bioshock 1 and 2 and Sonic Generations.

Oh! and make sure you download DCUO for free off of PSN. Trust me.
Thank you so much for this. I only thought it was free to play if you bought the game. Now I can try it out without shelling out 60$. Sweet.

Though with a 14 GB download, it will have to wait a bit.

grab some old PS1 survival horror games off the PSN, they put up silent hill, parasite eve, some pretty awesome selections if you want to revisit the classics.

If you like survival horror and don't hold Graphics in high stead I'll have to second Parasite eve I & II.

They are Ps1 Classics!

Demon's Souls [sub](a JRPG, but not the kind you're thinking of)[/sub]
Kinda funny, I usually hang around in a PC-exclusive site, and even there the commentators won't stop being excited about Demon's Soul.

OT: Wipeout. The best racing game - ever.

What the title says. I had been eyeing one all summer (with the promises of an upcoming Twisted Metal game), so on Black Friday, I picked one up. Now, I know this thread has been made dozens of times, but I wanted one catered specifically to my gaming desires.

So, I ask you all, what are the games I should pick up. The bundle came with the Ratchet & Clank series (never played, but they look fun), and LittleBig Planet 2 (also never played). I already bought the first Infamous, Heavy Rain, and the first three Assassin's Creed games on PS3 for a combined total of $20 (never really gave them a fair chance, so I figured I'd use them to start my PS3 library). A friend of mine is going to let me borrow the first two Uncharted Games as well, so I don't need to buy those.

I already plan on picking up Modnation Racers and the God of War series as well.

So any suggestions are welcomed. They don't have to be console exclusives, but that would certainly be nice. Preferably, no FPS games, as they belong to my 360 and none of the exclusive PS3 FPS games have really peeked my interest in the past (though I will still take suggestions), or JRPGs, simply because I don't care for them (except the Tales series). A big selling point for me is survival horror, so anything in that genre would be very appreciated.

So please help me!
If you haven't picked up Portal 2 yet, it is--in my opinion--the best game of this generation, along with Super Mario Galaxy, and the PS3 version is the best available, supporting as it does Steamworks plus split-screen co-op.

In terms of PS3 exclusives, the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus is a must-have if you haven't played those before. Also, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift--and perhaps its sequel, MotorStorm: Apocalypse, though I haven't played it yet--is an awesome arcade racer, though I'd steer clear of the original MotorStorm due to its lack of split-screen support.

Otherwise? If you haven't played No More Heroes, it might be worth your time to grab a copy of the PS3 remake.

so far i'd say you've got a very solid collection, definitely pick up god of war 3. perhaps flower on psn, or flow on psn as well. i'm not into racing games but gran turismo 5 is decent. but i can't stress that you get god of war 3 enough!

Ico/SotC HD Collection (and The Last Guardian after it releases next year)
Demon's Souls/Dark Souls

If you like survival/horror, do you like it for the gore or the weird characters and story? If it's the latter, have a look at Nier. It's action with some rpg elements, not s/h, but it's got loads of weird characters and gameplay. If that's too niche, MGS and God of War are fun.
