go to m.getjar.com and get cut the rope of course. Also, android market has all the Angry Birds games for free. Also, a barcode scanner of some sort. Some sort of emulator for your old games.

The possibilities are endless, unlike the lovely locked down drm fueled iPhone that i gave up for my galaxy s2

Well, as far as games are concerned, I've found Angry Birds and Tetris to be worthwhile diversions.

Root it, then if you don't have Android 2.2/2.3 upgrade to those using the most stable community ROMs.

What phone are you using anyway? Depending if the CPU is ARMv6 or ARMv7 you might not have access to certain apps/games.
