Just got a Ps3 And what games to get?

This week i picked up a ps3 and picked up a couple used games at Ye ol Pawn shop

Fallout 3
Street Fighter 4
Saw

But these games arn't really grabbing me to much
-Saw i'm stuck on the first damn encounter trying to get the saw helmet off by doing what the game tells me

-Fallout 3 don't get me wrong i liked obolvion for the PC not a long playing game but was fun with the amount i could do if they merge that and morrowind together i be alot happier maybe if i spend along time getting into the game maybe then i enjoy it

-Street fighter 4, It's Street fighter sure it's a fighter games it's fun but only when friends are over or you have 40 minutes to kill not a good game where i have an evening free and want to serious game.

Any suggestions on games?

Metal Gear 4, Killzone 2, Resi 5, Borderlands, God of War 3, Bioshock 1 + 2, Uncharted 1 + 2.

Though with Metal Gear, Resi and GoW, if you haven't played the previous games then it may be very hard to get into the stories. Killzone is easy enough to get into though.

EDIT; Oh and Wipeout HD with the Fury expansion, if you're into racers.

FF13 is kinda a maybe yes maybe no i loved (1,2,3 or 4,5,6 in US, 7 and 9 (Hated 8 never played 10,11,12)

That Escapist Introduction video is quite well made. It's unfortunate that people like you are dying on the internet forums nowadays.

It really depends on your gaming preferences.
For instance, Disgaea 3 is one of my two favorite PS3 games (along with FF13), but that doesn't do you any good if you can't stand SRPG's.

I'd also recommend Valkyria Chronicles. It's cheap enough at this point that everyone who owns a PS3 should at least try it.

Eternal Sonata is a good JRPG.

I also endorse several previously mentioned games, ie FF13, LBP (and I don't usually even like platformers), Uncharted.

From n64 days of having 1 racing game (a good one like cruising the US and Mario Kart to having most mario titles as well as a few action and RPG games i jumped into the Computer and online content of the following

Age of Empires 2
-> Every game made by Blizzard
-> almost every game made by Bioware
and smaller games like Army men 2,Oblivion,empire earth, duke nukem and doom

there was others games i tried like Left for dead for example but i hated playing that game due to the online players mindset on that game.

demon souls is a longgggg game, if you dont have...basically your whole life, prepare to not get too far

ff13 i would recommend, its hard to get into at first but i love the story and its pretty fun later on, and good god i love the cut scenes and characters

uncharted 2 at the very least i would recommend, the first one is good but if you had to get one the 2nd one is the one to get, its freaking amazing, and you dont need to have played the first one to understand it

GoW 3 is also amazing
