Just got a PS3. Suggestions?

Alright so I just got a PS3 and I'm feeling like I'm lacking stuff for it. I'm going to get uncharted 2 but I'm going to get one other game for it pretty soon. As of now all I have is MGS4. I was contemplating either Infamous, Littlebigplanet, or resistance 2, but if you have another suggestion I would like to hear it. Side note, I already have an xbox 360 so anything on both consoles that I want I probably already have

All I can say is the LBP is fun to play with friends.

I don't have a PS3 i want one but a fun game i like playing on it when i go to Harvey Norman's is Motorstorm its a really fun racing game very realistic and fun as all hell i recommend it mate hours of enjoyment

Don't get Infamous it'll make you hate your PS3.

Get prototype instead, also get LBP, arkham asylum, and if you like fighting games perhaps BlazBlue. MGS4 is great but it is hard to play twice because there are no achievements to be seen...as if it would be hard at ALL To implement given the games in game award thing.

What I have played of Little big planet is great, I am just waiting for the game of the year edition to come out. You might want to pick up Fat Princess on the PSN Store, it is by far my favourite ps3 game, lots of fun, and inexpensive.

I just bought one as well, I got LBP, Killzone 2 and NFS:Shift. All pretty good, but I think that Killzone is the better game I've got

I'm in the same boat, I got MGS4, NFS:Shift($40 at best buy), and Ratchet and Clank:Tools of destruction. Since you have MGS4 I wont say anything about it. R & C is actually a very fun game, took me about an hour or so to get into it but it hasn't left my PS3 since; well worth the $30 I spent on it. I like Shift but it's not arcade or simulation enough for me, it walks the line just fine but it's not for me. I may just need to give it more time, but for the price tag its worth it.

360 is going to remain my main console, so I'm just picking up exclusives or games that have more content on the ps3. I plan on getting Uncharted 1 & 2, resistance 2, folklore, and killzone 2.

Alright so apparently infamous in unanimously disliked so far. Good thing i asked because I was leaning towards that. What exactly is the appeal behind fat princess? I've heard a lot of hype for it but looking at gameplay it just doesn't look very fun.

GOTY edition is already out. In fact according to best buy's website it's been out since early september. I think I might go for that since it's like, 5 dollars more than the regular game. What extra stuff is in it?

Little Big Planet is a lot of fun. If you don't have Arkham Asylum, that is also a good pick. I am more or less in the same boat as you are though. I just got a PS3 and am eagerly awaiting Borderlands and am afraid that as soon as I get MGS4, the price will drop again. Infamous is alright but the difficulty curve [in my opinion] is like running into a brick wall and then trying to climb vertically barehanded.

I've heard Infamous is pretty good. LBP kinda lacked something for me, but most other people seem to like it. Resistance 2 is a little... well, its fun, but its also an FPS - too many of them on the market as it is.

edit: personally, I'd suggest you try Valkyria Chronicles, very pretty game, lot of fun too!
