Just got a PS3. Suggestions?

You really want a game right now, I'd suggest Demon's Souls if you like RPGs because...there are so little choices for RPGs out there. But if you can hold on to your money for at least a month, Modern Warfare 2, Dragon Age: Origins, and Assassin's Creed 2 come out one right after another weekly in November (Due out 11/3, 11/10, 11/17 unless otherwise changed) I've owned my PS3 since the release, and I "only" own 11 games for it, but now is the time PS3 owners have been waiting for. With titles like God of War 3, Star Ocean International, White Knight Chronicles, Heavy Rain, and the ever-popular FFXIII actually being sighted on the horizon (albeit a tiny blip on the far edge of the radar), what was once a technologically advanced paperweight will finally show its worth.

Just to mention some of the better games I own that might interest you: Resident Evil 5, Grand Theft Auto 4, Disgaea 3, Resistance 2+1 (Did I just pull a 5,4,3,2,1 countdown? I think I did!)

Folklore's really good. Fun gameplay, great story, and absolutely beautiful graphics.

Ratchet and Clan Future is a great game. Valkyria Chronicles also. If you like 2D fighters, I suggest BlazBlue.

GOTY edition is already out. In fact according to best buy's website it's been out since early september. I think I might go for that since it's like, 5 dollars more than the regular game. What extra stuff is in it?

Don't get Infamous it'll make you hate your PS3.

Get prototype instead, also get LBP, arkham asylum, and if you like fighting games perhaps BlazBlue. MGS4 is great but it is hard to play twice because there are no achievements to be seen...as if it would be hard at ALL To implement given the games in game award thing.

Then add me TheUltimateEnd.

Since when did games need achievments for replay value? I like to replay games just because they were fun. I love replaying MGS4, for one because there are so many extras you can get for beating it different ways or doing so many things etc. MGS4 has a TON of easter eggs and extra items beyond the basic pistols and rifles.

Sell it and buy a 360?

If you're going to get Uncharted 2, you might as well get Uncharted 1 as well since it was a great game itself, and Uncharted 2 will make a bit more sense.

Get the original Drakes Fortune, Infamous is pretty good, Batman Arkham Asylum is awesome! You can do worse than buy all the Platinum games too.

Yeah i actually ended up going with that. I hope you enjoy repeatedly punching people in the face and jumping on and grabbing people when they're trying to make a jump as much as I currently am.

Alright so I just got a PS3 and I'm feeling like I'm lacking stuff for it. I'm going to get uncharted 2 but I'm going to get one other game for it pretty soon. As of now all I have is MGS4. I was contemplating either Infamous, Littlebigplanet, or resistance 2, but if you have another suggestion I would like to hear it. Side note, I already have an xbox 360 so anything on both consoles that I want I probably already have
