If you do this then I suggest investing in lockpick or you're going to get pretty pissed right at the start. I still don't see why they put a lock on that door, it seems utterly pointless. Don't invest too heavily but add a few points in early on.Nitpicker of the Wastes said:Don't even START Fallout 2 until you download Killap's Restoration mod. It fixes easily 1000+ bugs while also implementing all of the stuff the devs almost included.
Killap's mod puts a lock on Vic's shack's inside door making you need a moderate lock pick skill (or an explosive) to be able to progress in the game
I also suggest using small guns, melee or unarmed.
Intelligence, endurance and agility are highly valuable SPECIAL investments all through the game.
Pick up everything that looks valuable.
Sell everything you'll never use
Buy a lot of Stimpacks
Kill the guys with burst fire first
Make sure you have good armour.
Save often. I mean like after every talk. After every encounter. Half way through your trip stop and save. Just have lots of saves.
