Ha... you really could though.Julianking93 said:Breton's using all magic and swords.MiracleOfSound said:And what's your new Breton using?
I picked Nord a) because I've never played one before
b) They make good tanks with thier combat bonuses
c) I like having a little magic to back me up and nords are the best of the three tank classes (Nord, Orc and Redguard) for that
d) I wanted to live in Bruma
I'm liking magic so far.
In my last playthroughs, I had the house/mansion in Anvil.
So nice there.
Maybe I'll go with Nord instead. I usually pick characters that go with my personality and Bretons and Dark Elves fit mine rather than Nords.
I couldn't really be any nerdier right now could I?
just wanted to say, i still love your avatar man... its the coolest of them all!!!!!Neonbob said:I've spent very little time on gaming for a good while now.
There are spurts of obsession with games, but for the most part, I'm on this site rather than gaming.
I do the same thing. I adjust my characters to whatever I would do unless I get bored with it. I'm usually always helping people in the real world, so I do the same in RPGs.MiracleOfSound said:Ha... you really could though.
I always role play in role playing games... usually my characters are little goody two shoes who act and make choices just like I would see myself doing in thier shoes.
I picked Bruma because I want my Nord dude to feel comfortable around other Nords.. and he likes the cold...
I also decorate his house with various weapons and unique items he's acquired, painstakingly struggling with the petulant physics engine for ages trying to get things set up looking pretty...
So yeah, don't worry, compared to some of us you're not that nerdy!
At least you weren't running around the streets going 'Stop right there, criminal scum!'Julianking93 said:I do the same thing. I adjust my characters to whatever I would do unless I get bored with it. I'm usually always helping people in the real world, so I do the same in RPGs.
BTW, how do you decorate a house in Oblivion? Can you get glass cases for weapons?
And about the nerdy thing, you don't know.
I once got so into Oblivion that I was talking like the characters in the game
I caught myself saying "Hail" and "Blessings of Akotosh upon ye"
Thanks I'll check that out. I still love my house in Anvil though.MiracleOfSound said:At least you weren't running around the streets going 'Stop right there, criminal scum!'
Are you playing on PC or console?
If console, it's usually the left bumper or click the right stick to pick up items and move them around. Hold it and manouvre the item into the position you want it.
You can leave things lying around in your owned houses, they don't dissappear. I'm not sure if this applies for stuff you leave outdoors or in non-owned houses, I wouldn't risk it.
If you save up and get the place in Skingrad, there are a bunch of glass cases that make displaying your weapons a bit more pretty.
My High Elf Mage has almost every item in the game propped up against walls, on chairs, benches, tables, cabinets... it was a wonderful waste of time!
