World of Warcraft: would call in work to raid, took my vacation for release of BC, would make wife come to my computer if she got horny, designed a troll tattoo which luckily I never got around to getting, finally quit due to boredom of doing same daily quests five times each day and nothing else

After playing the sims obsessively for a good few hours. Have you ever found yourself just sitting somewhere bored or waiting and tried desperately to find the fast forward button? Then to realise your not in the game and its real life...?
I did.

I can complete Lylat Wars in under 30 minutes along the red route with medals on every level and in under 30minutes.

I still play it a couple of times a month (on the N64 because the VC version's controls are less responsive).

Yellow Lad Unleashed said:
Fallout 3.
I would keep trying to use V.A.T.S whenever we went paint-balling. Sad? I think so.
I went to the desert in New Mexico and I kept expecting Centaurs or Super Mutants to crawl out of the sands.

Assassin's Creed.
How I got interested in free-running and sky-diving (Leap of Faith). Also I imagined the examination table at the doctor's (The big steel one, not the comfy "we're just going to ask you a few questions and feel up your back and chest" one) as an Animus.

Those are the only two worth remarking on.
i still find myself picking up random bobby pins for no reason thanks to fallout 3

My friends banned me from ever saying the words "Prince of Persia" in front of their faces as long as I live. I was that addicted, still am sort of I still feel my finger twitch when I drop something or screw up at anything.

I go to tournaments for street fighter (HDR, 4, 3s) and for other fighting games. I just like to play hard and win.

I've spent waaaay too much time playing Fire Emblem & Valkyria Chronicles, something about turn-based strategy just sucks me in until I feel thirsty and realize that it's five in the morning and I have to get up at six.
WoW has also managed to gobble up an inordinate amount of my free time, so much that I'm afraid to calculate my total /played time lest I look like a total loser to myself.
Finally L4D has also pulled me in quite a bit, the only reason for me to stop playing is that it's become so late that all of the reasonable people have gone to sleep and it's just me and three of my friends sitting in a lobby hoping some randoms will join.

I've easily clocked at least two thousand hours in Diablo 2.

Back when I played WoW I put about a months worth of time into my main character I played. After I hit level 70 I was pretty much done with the game. I'd play Wrath of the Lich King If it was free, because I no longer have $15 a month to spare or the time necessary for it.

And I've sunk about 300 hours in to Morrowind, about 150 into Oblivion and at least 250 into Fallout 3.

I wake up in the morning and decide if I want a red dot sight or a silencer with my waffles, and whether or not I want to be a jerk and use Juggernaut and Last Stand in the shower.

Fallout 3 had me thinking about quicksaving in real life when I was really tired. And, many years ago I fell into the pokemon game trap.
