I used to be a hardcore raider back in the pre-tbc days(world of warcraft). Sometimes I would raid from 19.00 till 02.00, which was pretty bad as I was only 15 back then.

As a kid I was also obsessed with pokemon silver. I caught them all. I have no regrets :').

For three months (in the summer of 1999) I played Tribes for 11 hours a day 7 days a week. It was absurd in retrospect and not only am I no longer capable of such pitiful dedication to a game, I have not found one since that has even made me want to try.

You have no clue. I pretty much am obsessed with the Mario, Sonic, Mother/Earthbound, and Pokemon series. To the point that I would have almost beat someone to death for calling Sonic Adventure 2 (the last good 3D game in the Sonic series) a "piece of bullshit". We were having an argument over whether or not a game could be good if it didn't have photo-realistic graphics. He was saying that any game that doesn't have graphics that are as close to photo-realistic as possible isn't a good game, while I was arguing that having realistic graphics in a game was merely a novelty, and that a game could be good if the graphics weren't realistic. I mentioned this on another forum, where someone mentioned asking him how he would like games like GTA IV or Oblivion if all you could do was look at the scenery, and another person mentioned that without gameplay, a game is just a seven-hour-long movie, and without gameplay or story, the game is just a preview cinematic.

I put more than 1000 hours into the original Metal Gear Online (which was only online for approximately 1 year and 3 months), and more recently I rented Prototype and loved it so much I sat playing it from 11PM to 9AM. Finished it in one sitting.
