To those wondering why is a big deal that Xbox or any company tries to block class action lawsuits is that the companies probably have more lawyers than you have members of your family. Your extended family. They can spend insignificant amounts of money (to them) burying the individual with their high priced lawyers' abilities to squash or put injunctions of the processes of the legal system. Even if you're right, your case most likely won't even see a court room because you will not have the guns or the funds to push through all of that.
A class action lawsuit could match a company's legal firepower. That's why they fear it. That's why they make you unable to try to make one by signing your right away.

Damn jago sounds like a fanboy
or maybe just someone who's not paranoid, and understands that DRM probably not going anywhere, and that this DRM isnt really any worse than he gets all the time anyway.
nope totally a fanboy your name is the release character for killerinstinct paired with the xbox one release date. the only way to make it more obvious would be to call yourself xboxfanboi1
Well, being that I only lurked these forums until people got all crazy biased, it seemed fitting to make it that now. But yea, I will enjoy Killer Instinct on day one. Way to go Colombo!
I'm going to not call you any names, I'm not going to insult you, I'm not going to do anything to try to close the avenues of discussion. I want to just take this moment to say that people's fears of you being apart of a PR department comes from simple facts that, yes, these things have been done before, and the escapist is a place where a lot of people come to get their news. I mean, I've made it clear of my feelings about the Xbox One many times (not a fan) but I've been here since 2008. I've discussed other things many of times. People know I'm a trainer, they know I like fighting games, they know I have interest in gender and racial issues and discussing them ... or would if they read my posts. I don't think they do.
Regardless.
Looking at your Posts, of the 65 posts you've commented on, only two of them have not been about the Xbox One. You join at a time where Microsoft is in high spin mode, literally a day ago. All of this seems like you've joined to specifically support a system that isn't even out yet and as a supporter, you have no stake in trying to 'spread the truth' to others. At least those 'afraid' of the Xbox are worried that these practices will affect other systems and the like.
Look, you have passion and I find that good. I don't want to tell you how to operate or how to express yourself. You're a grown ass person, that's a right you have and you should definitely exercise. I hope you stick around after the Xbox One drops and we find out that we were all wrong, you just feel strongly about things. That would be great. More people need to feel more strongly about things.
People are just wary. That's all. We're all angry at this moment. People who don't like Xbox One can very well easily never touch Xbox One and live productive lives. Those who embrace Xbox One, I'm freaking happy they got everything they wanted in a system. I think we should just keep a little bit of an open mind, us on our side trying not to believe we're not being invaded by plants from companies, and others supporting some of these practices and/or companies realizing it's hard to see the benefits when we fully believe there to be none.
