Just Saw Close Encounters with a Third Kind....

And I didn't think it was good at all. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it.

I was looking through some TOP 100 movie lists on different sites and the movie often appeared on those lists.

Maybe I missed someone, or maybe I'm in the minority, but but could someone explain what YOU liked about the movie?

Having re-watched both recently, Close Encounters is still good and still deserves its place on those lists, but I don't really think E.T. held up as well. For example when "The Government" first shows up at the door, they're wearing astronaut suits and just standing there blankly. What's with that?
