Overall it was a good movie. There's the huge metaphor where time/life represents money and at one point just to make sure you understand this, Justin Timerlake robs someone and says "I would say your money or your life, but since they are the same thing.." It's a glaringly obvious depiction of society, but it's done well and you can invest in the movie and feel tension as time runs down. I did think it was going to be more of an action movie and they could have upped the intensity at certain points. All told it's worth a watch and there's certainly some interesting concepts banded about :)

you might go home feeling like you want to sleep with your daughter, wife and mother at the same time (that's if you don't already have one of each).
I believe I speak for everyone when I say "huh!?"

It's because everyone ages to 25 in the movie and physicaly no more, so the daughter, wife and mother all look like hot 25 year olds. Maybe I should have said someone else's daughter, wife, mother lol. EDITED.

That last sentence really leaves me with an awkward feeling. Real awkward. You might want to edit that if you want a serious discussion about this movie. That said, I haven't watched it yet and can't really comment on it.

You will understand that last sentence when you see the film, haha. I saw it too, it was a good film but I did feel like a lot of stuff wasn't necessarily explained (or maybe I just missed bits) like how it seems to be set in one city and the rest of the world seems empty.

There were so many plot holes that were just kind of ignored straight after they were brought up.
Like his Dad, what was up with that? It seemed like it was going to be important.
Or Sylvia's mother's issues with her husband.
Or how they were genetically modified in the first place.
Oh and his friend, that was just like 'oh, he's dead now, bad one'.

Don't get me wrong I liked it but it needed more time. Ironically enough. They tried to fit too much into the time they had which sometimes made it seem convoluted.
I'm sorry I missed that last sentence.

I think I should make a thread every time I watch a movie. <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/2-50-Reviews>Oh wait...

OT: I'll see it once it's on DVD, or if I can convince someone to pay for my ticket. That probably won't happen, but I can always hope. Hey, it's going to happen with Moneyball, which I'm seeing this weekend.
