I think that if I had my every move as a 16-year old chronicled and put on display, I'd have a lot more to answer for than Justin Bieber. He's not a entertainment-tron, he's a kid. Kids do dumb stuff. Most of just have the luxury of not having our mistakes talked about on TV.

He's sixteen. Not a little child, he should know that actions have consequences.
That is assuming that this story is true.

And at 16, he is legally deemed a teenager. Which is somewhat different from being a kid.

OT: So? That's all I can say. I was going to put something interesting here, but it kinda fell out when I remembered what I was talking about.

I have nothing against doing dumb things. But hitting a 12 year old is a little more than dumb. If you punch someone, you're usually either angry/aggravated, and if you're 16 and a 12 year old is annoying you enough for you to physically hurt him, then you need to grow the fuck up.

That's my main question too. Not that the recent suicides and stuff aren't tragic, but they really have nothing to do with gay rights, or even homosexuality in general. Kids act like...kids, and that means having a vocabulary of insults limited mainly to "******" and "gay."
