2. He's Canadian, Christian, originated on Youtube, has a jaw-dropping fandom, a jaw-dropping hatedom, is really good at staying calm, is quite good at drums, and is having problems right now due to his voice dropping.

3. It's not bad. I wouldn't seek it out, but I don't turn it off when it's on, either.

5. If he's the scourge of the music industry as many think him to be, we're doing pretty darn good. He's no worse than many pop acts going on today, and is fairly easily avoidable, so the hatedom he has makes no sense to me.

Though according to some he apparently said he was the next Kurt Cobain, so if that's true he'll write shit music, blow his brains out while deep-throating a shotgun and then be declared a legend...so yay him I guess. My girlfriend said I looked like him when I had long hair. She walked along chanting "Bieber Bieber Justin Bieber" in time with my footsteps until I agreed to cut it short. Beyond that, I pretty much discovered him through the red button.

I don't usually deal with much Canadian music, unless I'm drunk and at karaoke, in which case it's ON. Please Forgive Me, How You Remind Me, I even managed to get to the last chorus of My Heart Will Go On without dropping an octave two weeks ago. Can't name one of his songs, but then again I'm cold sober now.

I will not share my opinion. But my reason for this opinion is the same as all of my other opinions: blind prejudice.
