Oh...So this isn't a thread about delicious Kraft Dinner? How disappointing.
I sorry about the misunderstanding. Anything I can do to make it up to you?
You could make me some Kraft Dinner?

Anyway my KD in Back Ops is slightly above 1.0 and in Reach it's pretty horrendous.

It depends on the game I'm playing, and beyond that, the gametype in that game.

Bad Company 2 - 1.90 (I average 3.0 a game now but I was worse in the beginning and I also screw off in the game a lot.)

I care about my k-d in this game. Only because if I am helping my team effectively, the kd will come naturally.

I don't know what my KD is, sometimes I find myself caring then not. I guess that qualifies me as stupid or something :U.

I think in Bad Company 2 on PC it's like .97 which is terrible but I don't exactly play it constantly so I forget things I've picked up.

I totally thought you were referring to the noodles, as in; Kraft Dinner and You.
That's all.
And my kill/death is a bit over 1, I hate it though, it prevents me from just enjoying myself, since I'm always worried about the numbers.

Mines like 0.66 or something like that, I don't really care what it is, and I find it to be one of the worst additions to online FPS

About 15000 kills in MW, 8000 deaths. I think 3000 headshots. So about 1.8. It would probably be a larger gap, but I often times just say "Fuck, I'd have to die a couple thousand times to see my stats move. I'm going to play this entire game with nothing but three grenades, sonic boom, and martyrdom."

SWBF2, I have a K-D of 12-1, but those bots really skew the results.

Every other game I play doesn't keep track of that, or if they do, I don't care to look.

I don't know because I don't care about that. I hate when people freak out and go "OMG MY K/D RATIO IS GONNA GET RUINED" when they die once. If you care about it it makes the game less fun. Plus some people treat their K/D like it really matters in real life...it's dumb.

Darnit! For a second I was euphoric, thinking someone had finally started the long-awaited K.D Lang fan thread!

Alas, it was too good to be true.

*Sniff*

OT: Well, I remember I had an absolutely appalling K.D ratio in Jedi Academy. I'd always be pitched against some savant.

Some games encourage you to care about K/D. MGO or CoD for example. I rage a lot in those games due to that.

My K/D in MGO was 3. And it was hella hard. That is one of the most competitive online games I've ever played. In Call of Dute, it's around 7. And it's fucking easy. I end up doing 40-5's in almost every game. It's not challenging.

When I go to other games such as battlefield or Team Fortress 2... it just doesn't matter. I must have like a 0.3 K/D ratio in team fortress 2 and I couldn't give less of a crap. I still enjoy that game like the first day

Pfft, no idea for most games. Depends a lot on the game itself, and who you're playing against. Last match in TF2, I had 32 kills for one death when playing Sniper, but I think there was an element of luck there, to say the least. On an RTS game, my best was something like 260-ish for 13 casualties, but that's because I recall units for repair. Overall, it just varies so much that I really don't measure myself by it.

Majority of games i play I tend to find it's around the 2.0 mark, but generally I don't care about it.

I prefer to go for the objectives and get stuff done :p

No idea, & I don't really care. Having fun is what matters, & while you can have fun ompletely destroying the other team, you can have just as much by messing around & getting a ton of kills.

...depends on the game, but normally around 1.15.

I have no problem with having a K/D, I don't really care. I would however, like it removed from some games, such as BFBC:2, because some people do care. Which makes them care more about getting kills, rather than actually doing some work to get the objective.
