I think karma exists like superstition exists. Putting information in terms of a good or bad outcome when it has no meaning in good or bad, black cat crosses your path, going under a ladder, etc. In karma, it could be guilt or reward. You feel guilt for doing something bad but not consciously put it as bad until something bad happens to you. That good feeling you get about yourself in doing some good then when you get something good, you feel rewarded by correlating the two.

I don't think I've ever experienced a moment in my life where karma came back to nip me in the bum. Not yet, at least.

I agree SODAssault - either karma doesn't exist or we are very good at avoiding it!

Ironically, mostly I'm the one giving Karma to others.

To top that, I only got Karma'd once during a Halo 1 skirmish ages ago: I drove around with a Warthog roadkilling everyone in my way, then a Scorpion tank blew me into the air -while still sitting in the car- and I got sniped by a camper.

Maybe a Karma, but I'll be damned if that wasn't awesome.
Again I agree, the only thing I can think of to top that is when I was on Halo: Reach and got a show stopper/splatter kill (save someone from being assassinated/run someone over or in my case smash them with a flying vehicle) by doing a flip in a banshee, backwards, and clipping the assassin with the wing killing him and saving my team mate.

oh man, when i read this thread title, i was like VON KARMA from phoenix wright IS BACK god i hope he doesnt have a taser this time!

but no, karma is just coincidence. see, you can either do something good or bad. later on, something good or bad can happen to you. so there's a 50 % chance that something will happen to you that will look "karmatic" and these things happen ALL THE TIME.

Karma is bollocks. Some people get away with the worst kinda shit their whole lives, and others who don't deserve hardship get screwed over by life.

I don't particularly believe in karma, though sometimes, it sure does seem like it exists.

I can't state any specific moment when something good happened to me after doing good or something bad happening after doing something mean.

Ironically Fallout has Karma.

Maybe you shouldn't grass on people.
I wasn't I meant that I was annoying him for staying off for such a trivial illness

School residentual trip, some guy manages to trip over a friend of mine and hurt her enough for her to get sent home.
Next day I manage to hit him in the face with a frisbee twice, by accident.
That is about the only thing that could come close to a karmatic incident with me.

Then I heartily look forward to the day you are hit by a whale. In the desert.

On topic: Back when I played online, I tended to be something of a dispenser of karma. I never specifically aimed for the trash-talking douche, but I tended to hit him just as he was about get an advantage.
At least I'll get some sweet daisies out of it.
If you were making a Hitchhikers Guide reference, it's a bowl of petunias.

OT: If karma has bitten me in the ass at some point, I really don't remember.

More specifically, Fallout 2's reference, which were daisies.
