So what do you guys and girls think about karma? Does it realy exist? Do good things come to you when you do good or bad things when you do bad?
For me, I don't realy think things are like that, but maybe you have examples on how you experience it.

It's possible there is some metaphysical force of justice at work, but I have no real reason to believe in it. It's a cool idea though.

I really really really hope not, because otherwise I will fall in love with some girl, then she'll get hit by a train and some jerk will come and spend an hour ranting about how much he hated her.

Yeah, I'm a dick.

Yes Karma does exist. It mainly applies to decisions one makes throughout life which will effect a major event later.

I am a big believer in karma, moreso cause and effect, it's a major part of Catholicism.

It's hard to think of one big example but I'll never forget about this one incident, back in primary I was good friends with this great guy who had a slight mental condition, I stuck with him through thick and thin and stood up for him against all the jerks that would treat him badly. As a result I gained one of the best friends I've ever known, was able to seperate good friends from bad ones and earned a stellar reputation with the teachers, I even won a few awards for it.

I don't believe in karma, either in the real sense or the vernacular sense. But whenever a situation arises in which I can yell "KARMA!" for comic effect, I don't hesitate to do so.

I used to believe in karma....

But then I heard a story about a girl, a girl who was kidnapped. There were no clues, no pieces of evidence, to explain what happened, except for one thing. A video tape.

And in that video tape, was the scene of the girl being kidnapped. The entire thing was caught by a gas station security camera. And you could see everything, except for the kidnappers face. Why? Because by some horrible, awful, ungodly stroke of luck, the kidnappers face was hidden behind a fence post.

Do you know what happened to that girl? She died. And had the police known who the kidnapper was, they could have saved her, but they didn't. That was the day I realized that Karma is not real.

Well, if someone's a jerk, I certainly like to think that they'd pay for it. Or does that make me the jerk?

Karma is bullshit. Horrible things happen to good people and good things happen to horrible people.

But if you act like a douche and hurt people. People will want to hurt you back. Wich is more human nature rather then karma. Everything else is circumstantial.

Karma doesn't work the way some people like to think it does (if it even exists). Good people get good things, and bad people get bad things? Give me a break. Everyone gets shit from life every now and then, and everyone gets a break as well.

Oh, I tried to find a picture of Karma the Alligator from the ZP review of Psychonaunts, but apparently that's one thing google doesn't have.

I think we should call the Karma Police...
OT: I personally don't believe in it...
