wtf?!?!?!

You can't design a character like that and then ***** about it when people discuss her as a sex object, that's ridiculous.

The Internet has an excessive, juvenile preoccupied with boobs. Next obvious fact?

Honestly, if people are having a problem with boobs, I suggest that the source of the problem is not the boobs, themselves. The source lies in that cranial canister sitting on top of the neck. Otherwise, from looking at the images, Elizabeth's attire is no different than I would expect for any reasonably attractive, young woman with some sense of fashion.

EDIT: Had to add a little extra to be less pithy.

If they tone down her boobs, what's the point of the game? To play a lengthy open ended action adventure title filled with psychic powers and massive automatons?

Bull Honky I say! Keep the boobs, just put a better over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder on that *****!

Some could say that him making her into a sex-pot without thinking about it is a hell of a lot worse than if he had thought about it first. At least the latter would mean he doesn't figure that's just the natural state for a woman.
Yeah, I found this a lot more interesting than the fact he's complaining about the all but non-existent commentary of her bosom.

Dude we should be able to wear what we want. If men can't control themselves it isn't our fault, we have every right to complain if a guy is creeping on us.
I think this video is for you...
Not interested in sexist comedians thanks. Sexism is about as funny as racism.

The whole idea of blame men put on women for their behaviour is ridiculous.

And just like we have the social right to not associate with people who dress like hookers.

Just sayin'.
Yet men can wander around with just shorts on and not be labelled as whores.
it's about as ridiculous as women whining about the "attention" they get when they dress in a certain way. Don't get me wrong, when it comes to issues like rape I don't agree with the whole "the way she was dressed, she was asking for it". However, when it comes to catching someone's attention, its silly to complain about it. I'm not saying you have to dress like women in Saudi Arabia, but that doesn't mean that you should dress like the complete opposite of that either.

As for your comments about men wearing shorts, the majority of men don't wear shorts like daisy dukes. Usually the shorts go at least to the knees, if not longer like 3/4 shorts [http://www.spacetribe.com/shop/images/LP43_BLK_M.jpg].
It all comes down to men objectifying women. We don't dress a certain way to put on a display for you. We aren't there for you at all.

We wear clothes because we like the way they look or feel confident in them.

Men shouldn't be judging us or dictating what we wear. It's our bodies.

It's like some men think we go out and say this to ourselves

I'm not saying a woman should wear a bikini to a job interview but we shouldn't be judged as a whore or have to endure a man creeping at us just because we want to wear short shorts.

I think that you tottally missed that jokes point, that advert is retarded and to be completly honest this whole, looking at tits thing, has been blown completly out of preportion.
Also you're using an anti RAPE ad, as a response to "If they look slutty, they might be a slut, therfore, I MIGHT be able to get laid". Tottaly different frames of mind honestly.

That's quite possibly due to the composition of the photo, they're centre frame and better lit.
So naturally EVERYONES eyes, straight, gay, male, female will head there first.

Also, was I the only one who when they saw the title of the article thought that Levine had a couple of hot older sisters that he was tired of people staring at?

I'm looking forward to see girls cosplaying as Elizaboobies, but it'll just be an added bonus to the great gameplay and story.

You mean like that?
yep. exactly like that.
I was never thinking all that much thinking about Elizabeth's boob problems but seeing this lovely outfit on real person I have to admit that eyes, no matter how pretty, are not the first thing you notice >_<
I try to notice eyes first. I make a consious effort to not stare at a girls boobs. that being said, there is no way a girl can showcase them like that and have me not stare. Its like a cumpulsion or something.

I guess Valve is the only company that can make actual female characters in video games rather than nerd fantasies.

Much like its predecessors, BioShock Infinite [http://www.amazon.com/BioShock-Infinite-Xbox-360/dp/B003O6EB70/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325715195&sr=8-1] promises a richly bizarre alternate-history setting packed with fascinating characters struggling to survive in a meltdown of philosophical extremism. There's also at least one pair of really great cans, belonging to the heroine Elizabeth - the Little Sister, all grown up. Despite being the man more or less responsible for Elizabeth and her fantastic sweater puppies, Levine says he hasn't put a whole lot of thought into the matter and he wishes the rest of the internet was a little less hung up on them. It. Whatever.

"In terms of her body type, I think certainly people on the Internet have spent way more time thinking about Elizabeth's chest than I have. It's something I've barely thought about," he said in an interview in the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine.

"It's disappointing when [Elizabeth's chest] becomes a focus for conversation because that was never my intent and it's sort of a disincentive - I'd much rather talk about what she's going through as a person, but whatever, they have the right to shout out whatever they want," he continued, suggesting that he's thought about it a lot more than he's letting on. Furthermore... hey. Hey! My eyes are up here, jerkwad.
...

IT'S THE INTERNET.

WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU EXPECTING?

First off, I'm surprised that 'Elizabeth's chest' is both a subject for controversy, a subject the person is bothered by, and a problem that is apparently hard to fix.

I mean, if you want people to stop talking about it... actually, you know what? This one Escapist basically said everything else I wanted to say. I'll just leave this here and facepalm on my way out.

On one hand, its understandable that big boobs are hardlet thought about. They are industry standard. Not having big breasted women is like making a shooter whose movement controls are Esdf. It is not bad, but it is unexpected. I can believe that no effort was put into making her like this.

On the other hand, there is zero excuse for being suprised when men focus on large breasts.

Ill give you the benifit of the doubt, and assume that you indeed aren't trying to get your tits and your artistic cred all at once. To many females have that chest size or larger. It would serve her character to make her breasts smaller. As it is, she will be lumped in with the grotesque freakshow that is female character design today. In some ways she would be more attractive as well as more realistic. If you don't, you are appealing to adolescent boys at the expense of story, character, and artistic merit.

One of the articles I read on this topic ended with: "I?d just like to remind everyone that their mother has breasts as well. Just a thought."

And I'd like to add that most of you used to suck on them.
