A shaved head is also a symbol of anarchy in certain places.

Look I just hate the term skin head in general. It creates the assumption that if you have a shaved head you are probably a racist. Nobody where I live shaves there head because people call you a skin head if you do. Even people who just shave their head because they like to have a shaved head.

In a way it's like assuming all black people are gangsters because they are black. Discrimination based on a physical experience.

I don't care if you like him or not. He IS our president.

This kind of sentiment I find a bit concerning - in a democratic society with free speech it should not be considered 'unpatriotic' to question authority and it's figurehead(s). I like Obama, but I find it disquieting when politicians become inspirational figures instead of functional bureaucrats.

I'm not calling you out on anything personally, Random - nothing you said was untrue and he WAS voted in, like it or lump it. However, your statement was a good example of a mindset I find concerning, although you may have meant it as I described it.

Also, speaking generally, for every racist skinhead, there's usually a SHARP (skin head against racial prejudice), so until they start talking it's not fair (or wise) to assume they are a bigot. Then there are folks like myself who like surplus and thrift store clothes, boots and baldness, but have no affiliation with skinhead subculture at all and who only have a grudge against their own hair.

Wow. What an intelligent and well thought out responce. I don't even care that I jsut got pwned LOL. To be fair, I AM a bit of a hypocrite because I gave Bush A LOT of hell when he was in office. But I do feel I deserve a little slack because Bush was a horrible president. And some people can say that Obama isn't a good president but he was sworn at the end of January, which ,even though it feels like longer, has only been three months, and it'll take longer to than that to take care of this economic constipation.
