Killzone 2 Demo went live...

So what does everyone think?
Im still mid-download so I'm reserving next post for my opinions.

So far its living up to the hype.
Control niggles and a bit of dodgy voice acting aside, this game is going to be stuck inside my PS3 for a long time.

Ok, final evaluation.
Demo was short and difficulty was satisfying enough for such a low level. Never died but came close once or twice. Movement is slow but after a while it seems natural. Quite frantic gameplay wise but its a war so its justified. Sound wise its mindblowing and a lot of graphical detail. Guns feel real and with a dual shock, every shot feels beautiful.

I will definetely be buying this game.

Do you have to pre-order the game to get the demo? Or can you just download is from the Playstation store? I'm definitely going to download it though.

I believe you have to preorder Killzone 2 at Gamestop to access the demo. Then around a day or two from the launch there should be a public demo.

I think the reason your getting it first, and this is just speculation of course, is because the first Killzone had a bigger fanbase in Europe. Could be worng though.

I am dutch and killzone 2 is made by Guerilla, a dutch publisher.

Played the BETA version through a friend who works at guerilla and the game "Fucking" rocks.

Create a new profile and register at the PSN again. It's just like the first time. It's easy as long as you don't want to buy things.

For people making an EU account for the demo, you will need an address.
Now I would give mine but I would have to be an idiot.
I suggest using googlemaps and then searching for a post code of the address you want.

I played it. And it's not bad. A few bugs here and there(DEMO remember) but I was satisfied. Definitely a good shooter. It's like COD4 and TF2 had a baby. But for a demo, I didn't find it as addictive as The Orange Box. Nor as intense as COD4. I'll wait for by cousin to buy it for his PS3(I don't own one yet) and I'll probably like it more. But it's worth the download.
