Killzone 2 Multiplayer Complaints

like i said, dont get the wrong idea. To me, Killzone 2 is easily the best FPS on the PS3 (exclusively), it just has problems like any other great game does.

Fair enough. I still haven't decided if it's just a game to rent or one to buy yet, although I'm leaning towards buying.

I just like having more replayability with my online games, like the prestige ranks in the cod games. Killzone 2 just seems to not have that much else to do once you get through the easy-to-get unlockables.

Yeah, I liked the prestige ranks idea, and while it was a cheesy way to squeeze more replayability out of the game it seemed to work. I have to admit, I was jealous of all of you guys who unlocked everything in the past few days until I read what everyone was saying about how short the ranking was and disappointing. Now I'm not so sure I have the right to be jealous >_<

2. Ranking system is incredibly short, with only 12 ranks, and only requires a couple games to get to the next.

Oh, I thought it did this because each Rank is like a different class. You unlock engineer, then play with a sniper and you cover their backs with Turrets. Things like that.

all true, but this is the first online game i have really loved since cod 4. and it is going to save the PS3

Haven't had any of those problems, personally, but I haven't played but maybe a whole 2 hours total.

Well I personally enjoy the ranking system. But, thats probably just cause I enjoy getting my guns a little more quickly. Also, I prefer the class system that has several unlocks, as opposed to a tier system that gives you a ability every couple levels. It lets me focus into the classes that I want.

true the leveling is short but i think unlocking all the badges is the hard part of the game, i am finding it really difficult to get 5 kills with the turret per game, granted i could have a small match between friends and jsut take it in turns to kill each other but that defeats the object.
