Killzone 2 Scout/Sniper

I have never actually bought Killzone due to the fact it has an obviously bad story and probably bad multiplayer.

The recent trailers on the PSN Store said otherwise (about the multiplayer) sure, assault looks way overpowered and fast, sure, engineer plays like the TF2 engineer, but the one that i was looking for was Scout, a sniper, fair enough, a sniper with camo, "ummm, you serious? sweet" a sniper with camo, and the ability to mark any target on screen "i came a little".

Now I've always loved snipers on a game TF2, CoD4, MGS4, UT3, any game with a sniper rifle, but i also like to go stealthy with my sniper, so camo would help so much to let me get to a position and hit heads.

But a friend of mine says you can pick up other peoples weapons AND have penetration at the same time as well as the other abilities. Now i like to be strong, but not goded out.

Is it worth getting Killzone 2 for that?

You gotta experience Killzone 2 for yourself, it's hard to call it for you, but I enjoy it, even though I ain't unlocked them classes yet. MEDIC FTW!!!

Just rent it first, I enjoyed the multiplayer as much as I have any other game, then on the flip side I enjoyed the single player more, whereas you've already made your mind up on that.

Here's a crazy idea for you; play the bloody game before saying 'its bad' it helps you come off like less of a fool.

It's an amazing game, and being a sniper myself I highly recommend it. The story isn't incredible, but it's not bad. The gameplay is definately the true feature here. And while it's true that you CAN pick up someone weapons, good luck getting to wherever an enemy sniper is, killing him, and taking his gun before he or his team picks you off. Besides, any other class isn't very efficient with the rifle since they don't have the Scout's cloaking ability or his target marking ability. So yes, being a sniper is definately fun. Best way to decide for yourself though is to play it for a while, see how you like it. It takes a while to unlock the Scout badge, so you'll have time to make your opinion before you've got a rifle in your hands.

Because it looked like it was trying to beat Halo and Gears of War, and the demo said the same, american soldiers fighting london'as in space with rifles and buttstocks, you know who are the real elites in the world? SAS, but there only briefly looked at, its always a basic american soldiers fighting impossible odds, want to know a more relistic game, SAS squad, stealth, slienced weapons like MP5, SR-25 silenced sniper rifle, taking down an uprising something like that. And bleh, too stereotypical for my liking. And i never play a game online until i finish story mode and story mode doesn't look inviting.

What do you mean try and beat Halo??? In my opinion, it did beat Halo and you can't put Gears Of War and Killzone 2 in the same category because they are two different games, but I do agree with some of what you say, we want some British soldiers with silenced weapons god damn it lol.

I never played it, but it beat Halo senseless im betting (wouldn't be to hard, haha) it looked to me like they were just trying to beat 360 rather then make a good game altogether, but i don't know i've never bought it.

Yeah, saying goes "a single SAS squad can take over a small country" they are trained to like :O wow.

Also a lack of that stereotypical British accent.

Marines are more in-your-face assault, SAS are more tactical espionage.

And that's one reason why I loved COD4, it was all thanks to the British guy, Soap and the SAS team that we killed the terrorist leader and stopped the nuclear warheads from destroying half of America, the Americans were just in the background during that lol.
