The news broke earlier today on IGN. You can read the article here: http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/110/1106913p1.html
(I'm not going to go into the details, you can read the damn thing)
Personally, the $149 price sucks, even if it is bundled with a game, but then I noticed the $300 bundle. I already own a 360, but it's bundled with a new 360 that has built in WiFi (which I don't have), so I'm thinking this: I trade in my old 360 but keep the hard drive, buy the bundle, trade in Kinect Adventures because it looks like crap, and viola! New Xbox, and I did some math:
GameStop Trade in value of Xbox 360: +50-100?
Return an unopened Kinect Adventures game: +50
Hypothetical cost of WiFi adapter for Xbox 360: $100
So I'm saving about $200-$250 if I buy the bundle, and I get a new Xbox. When you look at it like that, it's not so bad.
