Of course, at this rate, we'll probably be seeing it for the PS4 and XBox720.

OT: No. I wouldn't care if there was considering I have both, but Sony is kind of... Well, a money grubbing whore. They are going to make this a PS3 exclusive. No questions. This being said, I do like Sony, but they're greedy. Very greedy. Not as much as Nintendo, but still...

It did, then they left a cliffhanger. The three find a note from the king and it doesn't show what it says. After that some weird thing with people in full body armor but still able to jump around like monkeys are standing in a desert covered in millions of keyblades.

And you thought Sora was the chosen one!

Also those claiming the series HAD ANY DIGNITY to begin with are just trying to justify the fact that they played it and enjoyed it, it's a shameless cash in, but it's so effing pretty, embrace it, shameless plug-ins and all.

KH 3 will eventually be released. Most series favor the trilogy format and most of the series is not a part of the "traditional" trilogy, just side stories or prequels.

But I am interested, and I assume that after the US release of FFXIII versus, Square-Enix will announce Kingdom Hearts 3. Since they have the same project director Tetsuya Nomura.

I definatly hope that an eventual Kingdom Hearts 3 will comd out on the 360, but I suppose that's all up to how well Final Fantasy XIII does on the xbox.

But it won't come until Versus XIII is done... Which is good for me, because then I have time to get hold off a copy of the Chain of Memories ps2 remake... Stupid Square Enix not releasing it in Europe...

Eh, it's a possibility. KH has extended to nintendo handhelds, and FF13 is coming to the 360. I wouldn't hold your breath though.

Prehaps its not to be named Kingdom Hearts 3 But KH: The Keyblade Wars instead

I REALLY want a home console kingdom hearts sequel/prequel, so I know where you're coming from.However, I doubt that the next KH will be released this gen, maybe next (Squenix is making enough money with 358/2 days and soon to be birth by sleep to release another game of the same franchise, it wouldn't be profitable at this point)


I want another console KH to come out before I have to stop gaming as much, IE before I graduate highschool.

Kingdom hearts 3 has a better chance being on Wii then 360. KH3 will more then likely be a PS3 exclusive and we ain't going to see it before 2012 considering the rest of the garbage Square-Enix is most likely working on instead of games people will want.

Hopefully. I liked the first and second games, and I would want to see the 3rd one available to me without having to spend ridiculous amounts of money.

Hard to say. It's hard to take a stab at the X-box's customer base. They might all be FPS fanatics or they might be more varied. Well, selling games for multiple systems always nets more cash so... maybe, although it sounds weird.

Personlly i could see it coming to 360 if it is made, FF was always the huge PS exclusive and now that has spread out i see no reason other Squenix franchises won't.

Hopefully it'll be a bit more difficult than 2 as well, Sora was a bit overpowered throughout 2

There are definitely more places to go, and people to see, but I'm pretty sure the Kingdom Hearts series is drawing to a close. The Heartless have been dealt with, and Organization XIII is gone. Only place left to go is back to tie up loose ends. What else would there be to do?

I'd prefer it to stay with Sony, but I can see the marketing opportunity of moving to the 360. I'd feel slighted as a fan of the series, but it would be a good business move. Insofar as the story is concerned, have we actually SEEN inside Kingdom Hearts? Sure, we've stopped people and things getting into it, taking it over, siphoning off the power and whatnot, but we've never been shown inside it. I don't think that the sequence against Xemnas in KHII counts, really...

Also, we were shown the Cornerstone of Light... stands to reason there must be one of Darkness or the like, right? Everything has to be balanced. I'd like to see them do something with that. As for worlds, there are any number of Disney films they could pull out - Snow White (as was mentioned), the Pixar catalogue, Atlantis, a proper 101 Dalmatians world... so many to choose from.

There is quite a bit left in the franchise so I really wouldn't mind a third. In fact, I'd be quite happy to play it if it's anything like the predecessors.
