What the hell is a zetta?
Some clarification from the Urban Dictionary, dear sir:

"One of the most awesome adjectives the universe has ever known, or will ever know. Usually used as a substitute for "very," "hella," or "uber." Most widely known from the video game character Sho Minamimoto saying "So zetta slow!" in the popular Square Enix game The World Ends With You.
Warning: if used too much, "zetta" can become permanently etched in to your everyday vocabulary, potentially causing embarrassment to yourself and/or others around you."
OT: This is one of the games I've been waiting for since I bought my 3DS. Still can't wait for it to come out. The fact that I'll get to revisit "The World Ends With You" is the deal-sealer for me.

Just felt immense nostalgia, for some odd reason. Must have been the music, just takes me back to the older Kingdom Hearts games which I adored when I was younger. Day one buy for sure. Looking very promising.

I want to make the TC happy so...

Yes, this trailer is ORGASMIC! And I will totally be buying a 3DS just for this game. Hell, I bought a PSP just for Crisis Core and BBS, and it introduced me to so many games I would not have played otherwise, so I'm hoping it'll be the same for the 3DS as well.

That being said, after seeing the trailer, I kinda wish I hadn't... Go figure...

Yeah, I know what you mean.

If it's a Square Enix game and it has a trailer that is 5+ minutes long shown about 1-2 months before the game is released, its a safe bet to say there are spoilers. Usually though, they will be shown in the last minute.

...

But dammit I just can't stop myself.

Don't get me wrong, I love Kingdom Hearts and I plan to get Dream Drop Distance(already have a 3DS, thankfully. Now if I could actually FIND Re:coded and 358/2 Days >__>) and I'm very much looking forward to it. But my anger is coming more from your assertion that your opinion is better than mine, in a matter-of-factly manner(not directly stated as such, but that is certainly how it's coming off to me, even if you don't mean it like that), than it is from the fact that you need 4 consoles, at the very least, to play all the KH games because I have a PS2, PSP, PS3 and a 3DS, so I actually can play all the games. That doesn't, however, mean that I think it's any less bullshit.

I can't watch the trailer though, unfortunately. :{ My internet's not good enough to load large YouTube videos in any reasonable amount of time. But I supposed there's the silver lining that I'll remain unspoiled, right? Ah well, I'll survive. I've still gotta get ahold of Re:coded, 358/2 Days and finish up the rest of Birth by Sleep, anyway.

And to the one guy that quoted me saying something about KH possibly going to Xbox that I forget the name of but am too lazy to scroll up and check or quote:

A game like Kingdom Hearts wouldn't particularly excel on the Xbox. Sure, you'll get previous fans and even some new fans, but games like Kingdom Hearts are generally more well received on the PS3, whereas an FPS is generally more well received on the Xbox. I don't actually care if KH3 gets an Xbox release, honestly, as long as there's a PS3 release as well.

Yeah, about that whole "assertion that my opinion is better than yours" thing...

I'm sorry.

No, seriously. I apologize for my stupidity. I become... different... when I see people say bad things about the things I like. You shoulda seen me go off the chain when I saw this one guy insult Xenoblade Chronicles a few months back. *shudder*

Also, as I mentioned before, everytime I post the new trailer on here, people tend to complain when I want them to celebrate. I had to vent, yo. Once again, I'm sorry.

To be fair, I do think it would be a good idea if Squeenix released a big-ass compilation of all the KH games so far in the buildup to the release of KH3. Only thing is, it probaly shouldn't be a compilation; it should probaly be like a once-every-two-months deal. The KH games are big, remember?

There's actually an upside to doing it like this: they could probaly do an "old save bonus" thingy, like the .Hack games on the PS2 or the Mass Effect series. For example, when you import a KH1 save to KH2, it probaly wouldn't import the journal from the first game (Got wiped clean in CoM, remember?), but it'd probaly keep track of what optional worlds you visited or didn't visit in the first and change certain conversations when you get there in the second. Also, remember all those visions of the first game Roxas had at the beginning of the second? If you import your save, the characters would be holding the weapons they were using at the time of that cutscene!

Of course this is all speculation. Still, if it came true, I'd totally buy a PS3 for those games. Either that, or a Dissidia-esque fighting game starring the KH original characters.

I'm going to assume Square broke off relations with Sony exclusives, that KH3 has a possibility of making the leap to the Xbox.

I'm what you'd call a KH hater, for the whole multiplatform-splitting-of-a-unified-story thing, even if I DO own all the platforms the games are on. There has never been a stupider idea than that in my opinion, but...

In spite of that, their trailers find a way to make me hype as fuck. I've never played BBS, and I never finished 358/2 Days, but I still get pumped whenever a KH trailer appears. People swear up and down that the only games that truly matter are KH1, CoM, 2, BBS, and 3D. I might finally give the series a second chance. It's not ideal, but I can deal with 3DS/PSP games cause they're on par, quality wise, with the PS2 games.

Unless 3D reveals that 358/2 Days and Coded was important. Then fuck that shit. The story isn't so good that I'd buy seven separate games for all the consoles I own.

And can we bury Sanctuary already? Get someone else to do a new song.

I'm not too worried about it. I meant to add the bit about me being unable to watch the trailer but look forward to it anyway, in my original post, so it didn't look like I was appearing for the sake of bitching about the console split ordeal. But it appears I'd forgotten to, so the misunderstanding isn't entirely baseless.

I hear you on Sanctuary. It really isn't one of my favorite songs from the series and personally, I think it's getting old. But if it means anything, Birth by Sleep uses Simple and Clean. :D(favorite song of mine in the series)

Believe me, Days and Re:Coded are important. Its not "If you don't play it, you won't have a clue about what's going on" important, but rather "Certain cutscenes in the games will make scenes in 3D make more sense" important.

If you're not interested in playing them, however, you could just read a story synopsis online somewhere. They're nowhere near as fun as playing the games themselves (Believe me, the DS games are also on par with the PS2 games, but for their own reasons), but it's cheaper than buying a DS.

Just... whatever you do, don't give up on this franchise. Ever. Believe me, stick with it and you'll be rewarded. Big time.

You know, I had Days for a while, and I gave up on it after 16 or so hours. I couldn't stand to see Agrabah anymore. That and I really just hate the Org XIII...I might get that KH 10th anniversary box set when it comes out in America. I thankfully know the plots for 1, CoM, and 2 like the back of my hand so I don't have to replay any of those.

I feel that my outlook on games and game stories has changed since I last was immersed in, and disappointed by, KH, so I really wanna try to get into it again. The story seems to be moving forward in a more meaningful way again, I've loosened up on what my "standards" for an entertaining story are, and the gameplay of that series is my absolute favorite that Square's ever done. I own all the platforms required for all the games, but honestly I just dislike the jump from PS2 visuals to DS ones, back to PS2 quality. It's kinda jarring to me and that's part of why I kinda hate that they're all so spread out. But if I must, I must, I guess...For the sake of the half of me that's still hyped by the trailers, I'll give it a try again. I hope I like them, unlike the time I tried to play Tales of Symphonia again...ughh...that story did not age well...

Aahhhhhhh, see I thought there was a clever pun there. Kingdom Hearts 3...D!! But not its just another handheld outing on the 3DS.

Now I'm not a Kingdom Hearts fan. (I've played KH2 and liked it.) But I do understand the annoyance that fans have with a series that is all plot relevant and canon, but chooses to leap across three/four platforms by two rival companies, AND to be handheld rather than consoles where the experience is confined to a tiny screen as opposed to the living room TV.
