Jesus christ, Square-Enix really didn't hold anything back did they? Kingdom Hearts was a challenging game, Kingdom Hearts 2 was pathetically easy, Chain of Memories was pretty hard, but Birth By Sleep verges on the impossible. Fellow escapists, have any of you reached Terra's final boss? No spoilers here, but it's quite possibly the hardest final boss on the PSP system. Yes, even harder than Chaos from Dissidia and Sir Sweet from Prinny.

What annoys me is the difficulty spike is so massive in the last world. The entire game is easy from start to finish except for the final level which kicks your ass. I've heard people calling the game hard, and by God they weren't wrong. By no means is this a bad game, in fact it's amazingly well made, but when you have a mandatory boss that's harder than the optional boss Sephiroth in the first Kingdom Hearts, you're going to get a bit frustrated. I eventually beat it by dumb luck, guarding for my dear life and countering everything. It's so easy to get locked into an unbreakable combo and die because of how much Terra staggers. And, really? 3 incredibly hard final bosses in a row?

So, those who have also played this game, how difficult do you think it is, and how challenging was Terra's last boss? Also, how difficult should Kingdom Hearts games be?

Sometimes I wish I had a PSP... Doesn't happen often, but it's always due to kingdom hearts...

Just wondering, how many minutes did it take till you actually reach the opening titles?

Haha, yeah, Kingdom Hearts 2 had a five hour long tutorial before it. Nah, in Birth By Sleep it's almost instantaneous. The titles appear right at the start and there's no tutorial. Well, there's a small 1 minute one, but apart from that.

yes terra's final boss is hard but that's mainly because when a game has story that i'm actually interested in i ignore level requirements and get where i need to go for what. that and i'm just playing on normal difficulty at level twenty-something. i, yes beat the final boss but only because it took me almost three days to figure out why he's only using unbreakable combos (that combined with the fact that i fail at life).
1)i'm sorry for any mistakes in my writing.
2)i love video-games, but i only suck at them due to minor loss of motor skills from falling backwards on a flight of stairs and waking up in a hospital bed four hours later.
3)i'm also sorry for the length. i have problems like that

I think it's a bit too difficult even on normal difficulty, and this is coming from someone who beat the second game and all the optional bosses on critical difficulty and all the bosses in the first game on Proud mode. It took me over an hour to beat Terra's last boss, I eventually just surrendered to guarding everything and using a shotlock when he summons meteors.

I have to agree. It's too difficult for a compulsory boss. No final boss in a KH game was as hard as this. It verges on Kurt Zisa difficulty. What makes it even harder is the fact that the way you need to fight him involves a completely different playing style than other bosses, where you need defensive commands. Basically, I had a shit all-offensive deck and got demolished for it. Only having one Curaga makes the fight unbearably difficult.

Yeah Terra's final boss is not that easy i was lv 27 when i fought him, i kept on blocking his attack and countering and then run away.

I had two curagas in my inventory and i won in about 20 mins.

I find the other kingdom hearts have this problem like in chain of memories it was fine up till i got to Rikku and it was a pain from then.
