Eh? Eh? Disney owns Marvel now. Who knows? they may exploit that fact in their deal with Square Enix.

No this doesn't actually exist. Just a theory.

It's been touched upon before by other people, but I'm not sure if I want Wolverine in Kingdom Hearts. You just know they'll try to cram him in there.

No. Just... no.

I like Kingdom Hearts and I like Marvel, but the two do not go together. Maybe, MAYBE Spider-Man, if you used his classic old show/newspaper comic persona, but I don't see anyone else fitting into the game. There is a clear light-heartedness and charm to the Disney elements of the series that the Marvel properties just don't have today. Plus, all the Disney worlds share one thing in common: they are original Disney properties. Which is probably why you also won't be likely to see a Pixar movie be used as a world.

Though if they did opt for Pixar, Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc., The Incredibles, and WALL-E would all make awesome worlds.

I wouldn't want that. There's already too much angst in the series as it is, the Final Fantasy has been overpowering the light hearted but still dark Disney aspect of the first game I loved so much. Marvel super heroes would just feel really out of place, unless they're the really cartoony and silly Golden Age heroes, and even then it would just be weird.

Very, very, VERY minor cameos? That would actually be awesome.

Maybe in the next Kingdom Hearts game we could have Thor or Iron Man in a small cameo, but that's about as far as this should go.

I sincerely hope not. I like cake. I like potato chips.
I do not like eating my potato chips on top of my cake.

I'd be up for something like a Marvelworld that you can go to, but not having more than that. I think the overarching parts should stick to just the 'standard' Disney (the Mickeyverse) + KH orignals

I hear that about KH alot (That it's getting too dark for Disney or whatever), but that just makes me feel like people have forgotten just how dark and horrible some of the Disney 'classic' movies got. (Fantasia, Hunchback of Notre Dome, Little Mermaid, Lion King...)

Oh no, I know that, I'm just saying I'd rather it be "Disney dark" than "Final Fantasy dark".

Only if it's a fighting game. I don't know why but I want to punch a disney prince AND one of those androgynous weirdos right in their pretty boy faces. Better yet to do it with Hulk.

No, all around. I don't think Disney would want this, and really it's actually Square-Enix's call to make (and I don't feel like they'd go down that path now that they've got so much continuity already set up). Though Disney does own Marvel, and it would likely be in their rights to do it, they've done a good job of allowing them to keep their distance and do their own thing, and not trying to "Disney-fi" them. I don't feel like they would take the chance of royally pissing off all of the Marvel fans by overstepping the boundaries they've set for themselves. They have earned their trust up to this point, but a precarious trust it is. Just remember, Bob Iger isn't Michael Eisner.

And again, Disney doesn't have a huge say in what happens in the Kingdom Hearts games. Pretty much ALL of the story development comes from Square's end, and Tetsuya Nomura to be exact. I'm sure Disney has to approve of all they do, but as far as I know they don't actually send in Disney story guys to do the writing. Hell, Disney doesn't even have the rights to create and sell Kingdom Hearts merchandise--which still amazes me to this day. They gave Square all rights KH merchandise, which is why you don't see Kingdom Hearts stuff in Disney stores, or even in the gift shop in the Japan area of the World Showcase in Epcot. So really, Disney is quite hands off when it comes to Kingdom Hearts. They distribute, advertise, fund, endorse, sign off on use of their IP, and approve of the major story decisions, but really all of the writing and story/game development is on Square's end.

So if Marvel does end up in the next major Kingdom Hearts game, don't blame Disney. It would likely have been Square's idea first.

I don't want Marvel characters in the Kingdom Hearts Universe but I'd like to see Disney/Marvel vs. Capcom/Squeenix.
