I'd love it if they did a version of a "Marvel world" that was loosely based on the comics today with elements of the silver age and the cartoons.

In terms of specific heroes Hulk would be good to see, and so would Thor.

I think there are some interesting things they could do with it, an example could be something like dealing with Iron Man and his artificial heart, but I doubt they'll have anything Marvel related in Kingdom Hearts. Plus some just wouldn't really fit in a Kingdom Hearts game, such as the darker heroes like the X-Men.

However, they are doing some cool stuff by starting to include other Square-Enix properties besides Kingdom Hearts, such as how Neku from The World Ends With You is going to be in Dream Drop Distance.

Eh? Eh? Disney owns Marvel now. Who knows? they may exploit that fact in their deal with Square Enix.

No this doesn't actually exist. Just a theory.
Have they not been the owners of Marvel for a while now? I remember this topic being touched upon during conversation a few months ago. Mind you, I completely forgot about it until I saw your thread! Awk sure, the "Monk" series under "Touchstone Pictures" is owned by Disney as well, likewise with "Desperate Housewives", hah.

Lots of potential there. Though there's rather a lot of heroes, and KH isn't City of Heroes.

Personally I always expected if they got round to KH3 they'd throw in a Cars world, have a racing minigame of some kind. You know, Atlantica style, only not shit.

No. Just... no.

I like Kingdom Hearts and I like Marvel, but the two do not go together. Maybe, MAYBE Spider-Man, if you used his classic old show/newspaper comic persona, but I don't see anyone else fitting into the game. There is a clear light-heartedness and charm to the Disney elements of the series that the Marvel properties just don't have today. Plus, all the Disney worlds share one thing in common: they are original Disney properties. Which is probably why you also won't be likely to see a Pixar movie be used as a world.

Though if they did opt for Pixar, Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc., The Incredibles, and WALL-E would all make awesome worlds.
Original? Almost every Disney movie is an adaptation of a much older story.

Disney owns Marvel, yeah.
Disney owns a lot of stuff. Doesn't mean they're gonna cram it into KH.

Spectacular Spider-Man. That would fit amazingly well. Plus there's all the other Marvel cartoon shows, like X-Men Evolution and Iron Man Armored Adventures which they could shove in there. They could also do a tie-in with the movie universe and the Avengers.

Ahem. TRON. I think I've made my point.

I really like KH but if the Hulk and Spider-Man start talking about how with the power of love and friendship they can overcome all of their problems, I'll stop playing that series.

What I meant was that Disney created all the movies under the Disney name. The Marvel IPs were mostly created before Disney bought Marvel, and even today, Disney mostly seems to be hands-off when it comes to letting Marvel do their work.

No not really, but if they were characters in the main world, similar to how Final Fantasy Characters (Except for the Evil ones) are usually just characters in the main town (Although they do fight in the Arena in Mount Olympus), I'd be fine with that.
