I'm sure a large chunk of you spent your childhood years in the 90's like myself. I'm also sure that many of you saw such films as Interview with the Vampire, Jumanji, and Small Soldiers. How many of you are as surprised as I am that the little girl in those movies is almost freaking 30?

Sorry, had to get it out of my system. Just a sign that I'm getting older I guess.

She's... not even 30 yet? o_O
Huh. Didn't really think about it but... weird. Figured she was older than that.

I can't still get over how Joseph Mazzello, (Tim from Jurassic Park,) is and has always been older than me. By four years in fact.

Also I can't believe I didn't realise that he was the main character in The Pacific. How did I miss that?

She was in the spider man movies, and thats what i remeber her from (though I also remember her from the one Crow movie [I wanna say the fourth]).

So its not as big a deal for me, because I most know her from when she's older.

i'm not really surprised actually, she does look late-20s.
western women age quickly in terms of looks, unlike asian women that are..long-lasting.

What gets me is looking up the ages of various new singers and such. Taylor Swift is only a few months older than me, and like her or not, she's made millions off her chosen career.

My sister is 31, she doesn't need a walker...yet...

Actually, most Asian women crash in their late 30s, while other races have a more balanced aging process.

Asian women also have issues with weight. While most women can be a bit heavy (10-20 pounds) and get away with it, an Asian women will show being overweight almost instantly.

EDIT: Also, Asians have body figures like sticks. ick.

If you compare financial success with a celebrity... you'll usually come up short.

Not even financially. Musicians are lucky to get a record deal and have an album flop before going back to community college. Ditto for Olympic athletes. Most of them aren't exactly living it up, but they're at the top of their game both literally and figuratively. Of course, they're almost certainly going to be a has been in a decade before they get put down...

It really is quite interesting seeing people you thought of as "young" then finding out they are a hell of alot older now.

Recent example being Neville Longebottom from Harry Potter

...and Christina Ricci is 31...
I remember when both she and I were ten years old, she was Wednesday Adams, and I was just a kid with a morbid streak.

The other day I realised that this December marks the TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the first Lord Of The Rings film.

That makes me feel old.

I didn't realize how many movies she's been in. I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise. There aren't generally a lot of young people to play parts in movies at any given time, but still. Sad to realize that a girl I basically grew up watching is almost 30. Especially since that means I'm not far behind her.

Wait. Its already been that long? Holy Hell! Are you sure that didn't just leave the theaters? I swear I just saw it at the movies last month.

Here's something that will make you feel older: I didn't know who she was until you posted here

crash in their late 30s? whoa dude, i dont mean to be rude, but i dont think you've seen them well enough.

as for the weight issue and stick-like body figure, its not because they dont want to fat or something. its their way of healthy living that keeps them in shape, and dont forget genetics which plays a big part in human body.

and as for the 'ick because of the stick' part, that comes down to personal preferences :)
and btw, in my original post, i didnt mean to offend western women at all.
i love women, i love sex :)
