I had a new microwave. For popping popcorn I had to put the dial on 20, so with the new one I thought: Oh, it's in minutes... Erm.. 20!

After a while they stopped popping and I smelled smoke coming from the microwave. The smell sticked for a week or so.

This one time I was barbequing prawns, and the prawns wern't quite dead yet. One jumped right up in my face. I stumble backwards, knock the grill over, and set the lawn on fire.

I've set steak on fire before too. And not those cheap ass steaks you get from the market either, these were imported Wagyû steaks, not the kind you want to be setting on fire.

I've had a bag of popcorn burst into flames once and I accidentally set peanut butter on fire a few years back.

I often make a salad. After adding all the ingredients and mixing it up I'll add the dressing... only to quickly turn the bottle around, and see that it's many weeks old. It wouldn't be to bad, but I do this about once every four months.
